A kind of standard Japanese so-called "business hotel". Location is good when you reach the hotel by car. Navigation system of the car could easily took us there. A kind of standard Japanese so-called "business hotel". Location is good when you reach the hotel by car. Navigation system of the car could easily took us there. Room is a kind of small but good enough. They provided us not all-in-one type shampoo but shampoo and treatment separately, that was a good point as a Japanese, who don't prefer all-in-one type shampoos. We were just lucky or not, but at least at the day we stayed, we could hear no noise from outside the room.

“Lovely hotel. Staff unfriendly.”

We stayed at the Chisun in Kofu this week. There were 2 adults and 1 child. The hotel was clean and really well priced. I personally found the two young female staff on the front desk unfriendly, which was a shame as we generally found the city of Kofu very friendly. I would stay again using… lisää

I personally found the two young female staff on the front desk unfriendly, which was a shame as we generally found the city of Kofu very friendly. I would stay again using this hotel chain. It was convienently located the motorway/highway and there were many restaurants nearby.

“nice! ”

the room was good for a family! no hassles in check in and checkout. staffs are kind and polite! GOOD for people who just need for some place to sleep with comfortable bed! love to book again for a my busy schedules! PRICE IS CHEAP! I recommend!

Thought it was close to a train station nearby. No it's not. It's far. Spent a big deal of walking time from the hotel to the station and figuref why google estimated it as 25 minutes walk. Thought it was close to a train station nearby. No it's not. It's far. Spent a big deal of walking time from the hotel to the station and figuref why google estimated it as 25 minutes walk. Nope, it's more. The hotel however is great. Really bang for the buck. The breakfast was great and changes menu everyday. They can't speak english at all except for the manager who can for a little little bit. The room is super clean and comfortable. The restroom, one of the best Ive seen which actually is big for the amount I paid. This hotel is more than what you pay for honestly .. my only problem was the distance to the station, that's all.

“Accommodating staff”

Though their booking engine didn't show much availability, I booked a room and was able to make changes by email and the staff was very helpful. They changed from a smoking room to a non-smoking and helped me with my other questions. The location is good for car travelers but not as much for those … lisää

Though their booking engine didn't show much availability, I booked a room and was able to make changes by email and the staff was very helpful. They changed from a smoking room to a non-smoking and helped me with my other questions. The location is good for car travelers but not as much for those on the train. For us, it was good as we were looking for a hotel near the Shusenkyo Gorge. Bit bigger than a Toyoko Inn room, nicer bathroom.
