I absolutely loved my stay at Oakwood recently when I was in Phnom Penh and I’ve stayed in Oakwood properties in other South East Asian countries before as well so I knew that the level of hospitality and consistency across the board is going to be satisfactory and it was exactly that! I think this property is perfect if you’re traveling to Cambodia and want the feel of home with the amenities and facilities of a hotel at an affordable price! Their serviced apart hotel concept is just wonderful and I absolutely loved the area that they were located in because everything was so nice and there is also a super market within walking distance as well as cafes dotted around the hotel. I stayed in the one bedroom room type and it was absolutely stunning, especially because of the great view as well as the cleanliness of the room! So much space and the kitchen was equipped with everything you’d need for a pleasurable stay as well! Their breakfast buffet was nice as well and I enjoyed everything I had during my time here! The staff all across the hotel was so kind and welcoming all the time and their pool area is a really cozy spot where you can relax and unwind. They were kind enough to arrange an airport transfer for me as well and I couldn’t have asked for a better overall experience during my time in the Cambodian capital last month.

We spent one night in this property in transit to Bangkok, in all honesty from a wide experience of this type of hotel in a variety of regions I wasn’t expect ing anything special , how wrong can you be , the hotel is fantastic , it’s not a vacation hotel but for one or two nights it is superb . We spent one night in this property in transit to Bangkok, in all honesty from a wide experience of this type of hotel in a variety of regions I wasn’t expect ing anything special , how wrong can you be , the hotel is fantastic , it’s not a vacation hotel but for one or two nights it is superb . The reception is large and well appointed with efficient and friendly staff . The room (1076) was a reasonable size with a wide range of facilities and good connectivity, the property is new so is sparklingly clean in both public and private rooms.the bathroom reflects the room with good quality towels and pump action toiletries, water pressure is good . There is a complementary breakfast which was very well presented and offered good variety as well as quality. Externally there is a well equipped gym and a large pool, and the location is very clean and safe with a good selection of nearby restaurants. In short an excellent find which would be first on my list if I find myself in this area again.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment it’s very chic and classy the apartment was large and the breakfast was fantastic there are convenience stores just down stairs , housekeeping did a great job to keep apartment clean nice central air conditioning which really helped with the hot Cambodian summer the hotel is part of a complex with lot of apartments and in a clean area but it is little far from the main city center need to take taxi or tuk tuk for most places not many restaurants at walking distance . I wish they had a smart tv option so we could Netflix or use prime but they only had a couple of channels and not much entertainment around they have a kids club but not that great , staff are professional and the hotel is good value for money . The one issue was that in the master bedroom the blinds on the glass window between the bedroom and washroom would not close entirely and there was always light coming into the bedroom because even if you switch of the bathroom Lights there is a light from outside the bathroom that was always on so for difficult sleepers like me this was very bothersome.
