Clean and quiet and really good value for your travel dollars. Park at your door. Even on the main street it was quiet at night.

“Basic but clean stay”

A very basic dated motel. But the price is incredibly affordable especially considering the location. So I didn’t expect anything fancy. The front desk staff was lovely and kind; a real highlight. Breakfast is served in the lobby, no area to eat it so just bring to your room. The bathroom… lisää

Breakfast is served in the lobby, no area to eat it so just bring to your room. The bathrooms are newly renovated, the rest of the rooms are very clean but dated. The mattresses are fine but very old. The pillows are comfortable. The attached restaurant is amazing and very convenient. Little touches like a microwave, fridge and a keurig are great. Totally fine place to stay for cost, especially if you don’t plan on being in the room much.

I was visiting Drumheller at a time when other area hotels were sold out or beyond my budget. This hotel proved an OK option for an affordable stay for one night in the area. I was visiting Drumheller at a time when other area hotels were sold out or beyond my budget. This hotel proved an OK option for an affordable stay for one night in the area. The exterior of the hotel is dumpy and dated looking. The hotel is attached to a liquor store and a cannabis store, which does not add much to the charm. I had a "deluxe" room; "deluxe" seemed to mean that the dated, modest room had been repainted and the bathroom somewhat modernized. The woman working the front desk when I was there was professional, friendly, and helpful. The back of the hotel faces a river. When I was there (August), that meant there were lots of mosquitoes everywhere. Soundproofing leaves a little to be desired. The night I was there, 3 couples were sitting outside the hotel drinking/smoking until late at night. Even with the hotel room AC fan running, one (in a 2nd floor room) could still hear them (on a bench at ground level) quite well in the room. This property is definitely a step (or two) down from an average chain hotel property. But if you wish to stay in Drumheller and no other hotels are affordable/available, it is an OK option.
