“Fun Time”

Location was great, as was the resort itself -right on the lake and had a nice cozy feel. Rooms were great and clean /ours could have used a few more amenities but we survived. Restaurant food was good and the service was great. I would stay here again the next time I'm here.

Check-in was a breeze, and both suites were ready well before the 5:00 p.m. check-in time. The front desk staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our visit. The suites were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The only addition I would suggest is a full-length mirror. The grounds are beautifully maintained and kept in pristine condition. The weather was perfect for spending time at the pool, so we didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant, spa, or pickleball court. We’ll just have to come back and experience those on our next visit!

“The GOOD, BAD and OTHER INFO”

The GOOD: very nice facilities including 2 pools (one with a water slide), hot tub, and private beach. The facility also has a bar and restaurant. The BAD: my wife and I had a unit on the 4th floor. The Air Conditioning did not work! This is in Kelowna where summer temperatures can often top 35C. … lisää

The GOOD: very nice facilities including 2 pools (one with a water slide), hot tub, and private beach. The facility also has a bar and restaurant. The BAD: my wife and I had a unit on the 4th floor. The Air Conditioning did not work! This is in Kelowna where summer temperatures can often top 35C. Also, when you pay close to $900/night to stay there in high (and hot) season, you would expect the air conditioning to work properly. Resort staff gave us a couple of fans which made our stay barely tolerable. We only strayed because our daughter and her family were also at the Resort, and they had AC that more or less worked. There was nowhere else to go. The temperature in our room did not fall below 26C and was often between 26 - 29C. We were told that The AC system is based on a geo-thermal HVAC system and was being "worked on". After 5 days, nothing changed! Other INFO: SHOWERS: I have some mobility issues. The very high in-room tub - which is a tub/shower, did not allow me to use that shower as I had a great fear of losing my balance and falling trying to get in and out of the tub. Luckily, we found a handicapped walk-in shower in the washroom immediately adjacent to the fitness room (first door past the fitness room) on the lobby level. When asked - front desk staff did not know this shower existed! POOL: some may find the main pool a bit cool. However, many kids still enjoyed that pool. PARKING: there is some surface parking at the front of the Hotel. The underground parking is very confusing as some spots are reserved for specific units, while other spaces are simply numbered. Your unit's reserved space may be hard to find as there is no numerical order to the reserved spaces. If your unit has no reserved space, apparently you can park in any unreserved numbered space.
