“Lovely beachfront resort in Parksville”

We stayed for 4 nights over Family Day weekend in a spacious 2 bedroom townhouse that is beach accessible. The cabin is dated, but lovely and charming. We enjoyed using the wood fireplace. The parking space for this unit is right beside the mudroom. The unit is at they’ll far corner so it is quiet and peaceful. The suite has a lovely balcony off the main bedroom and a little terrace outside the front door. I imagine this would be lovely during the summertime. You have a beautiful view of the ocean and beach from the main bedroom upstairs. The only thing I wish was better was the cleanliness. The vent in the washroom was covered in dust and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a month. The kitchen doesn’t have a dishwasher which normally doesn’t bother me; however, the dish soap is a cheap no name brand from the dollar store that didn’t lather and it never felt like I could get the dishes, cookware and utensils squeaky clean. Everyone has their own level of “clean” so I think a dishwasher would make guests feel better about the kitchenware being sanitized. If a dishwasher isn’t feasible, at least have good dish soap that will cut through grease and grime. Overall our family had a lovely time in Parksville and the surrounding area using this resort as our base. We would definitely come back - in the summer - and maybe bring our own dish soap next time.

“Just Delightful!”

This is an outstanding place to stay! Beautiful peaceful location. We only had one night but would recommend a longer stay. We had the Forest Cabin with two bedrooms. This is an outstanding place to stay! Beautiful peaceful location. We only had one night but would recommend a longer stay. We had the Forest Cabin with two bedrooms. There was a picnic table and adjacent parking in an area surrounded by wonderful trees. The resort offered a pool with towels provided and there is also a pub-style restaurant on site where we had a very good dinner.

“Peace and quiet in a lovely setting”

"Peaceful" would sum up this resort in a single word. It comprises is a large collection of cottages and other properties set in heavily wooded surroundings, just off the beach, a few minutes drive south of Parksville. Our cottage had two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two singles… lisää

"Peaceful" would sum up this resort in a single word. It comprises is a large collection of cottages and other properties set in heavily wooded surroundings, just off the beach, a few minutes drive south of Parksville. Our cottage had two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two singles, a bathroom and a large kitchen/dining/sitting room. The kitchen was ell equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge and all the utensils that you would need on vacation. Thr sitting area had a TV and gas fire that made it look homely. The wifi signal was very good. Outside there was a table and chairs for just watching the world go by, and parking for four vehicles off the resort road. While we didn't use them, the resort had tennis courts and other leisure facilities. My friend's dog was allowed stay with a returnable deposit against damage being required. My brief meeting with the reception staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. Would I stay there again? Unquestionably.

“A beautiful view!”

Beach acres is a beautiful spot! Our family rented a couple of different cabins. Well stocked, dishes and coffee makers etc… the beds and linens were comfortable however the decor was reminiscent of staying with your really old grandparents, but that added to the charm. Well stocked, dishes and coffee makers etc… the beds and linens were comfortable however the decor was reminiscent of staying with your really old grandparents, but that added to the charm. A beach walking the morning is a must, as is dinner at The Black Goose.
