“Hotel Squamish..maybe get a suite and live there!!”

Starting off with the booking..Yay Tracey!! She made the booking fun..and easy. We arrived and were pretty amazed at the size of the 'suite'. We could live there! Starting off with the booking..Yay Tracey!! She made the booking fun..and easy. We arrived and were pretty amazed at the size of the 'suite'. We could live there! A very old place..some things worked..some..not so well. BUT..it was clean and the towels and bedding very very nice. Plentiful towels etc. in the bathroom. (nice bar soap!!) The shower stall is BIG!! The deck outside is lovely. The kitchen has a full size fridge with freezer. On one floor there is a bookshelf with books and dvds to borrow. Maybe exchange with some of your own? We didn't use the laundry or barbecue services. Often there isn't anyone at the front desk..just go into the 'next door liquor store' and help for the rooms will be there. Funny thing that. It would have been nice to take advantage of all the services adn lounge about on the deck..but we were there to 'go visiting' all through the days. Things to know...this is an oooold place. Do not expect the super fancy and sterile rooms. This place is comfy and old..a bit scruffy here and there..just like home! The really good things..the people. Tracey and the people in the liquor store (attached to the hotel) are ALL great. Thank YOU!!

No frills hotel right in the middle of downtown Squamish. Everything is walkable from here, parks, restaurants, pubs, etc. Please see below for my random thoughts. No frills hotel right in the middle of downtown Squamish. Everything is walkable from here, parks, restaurants, pubs, etc. Please see below for my random thoughts. Overall, we found this to be a clean, inexpensive hotel that served it's purpose well (which for us, was needing a one night stay in the heart of town). If we were staying for a few days, it would probably have been worth it to pay a few dollars more for a place with more polish. Random thoughts commence in 3....2....BAM Located conveniently in the downtown area of Squamish, tons of restaurants/stores in walking distance (a block or two) Rooms are on the 2nd story, there are no elevators, just a long winding spiral staircase Cute area where you can borrow dvd movies, books, CD music Water bottle refill station available Soda vending machine onsite Right next door to a liquor store (same ownership) Sparse amount of hangers provided. No dressers so, no drawer space, however, ample draw space in bathroom No usb ports of any kind that I was able to find (if you're staying here, be sure to bring a power strip that includes USB ports) Window blinds open by simply pushing up (close by pushing down) instead of the old method of pulling on the rope. I LOVE this. Room includes fridge Room does not include safe Room has dvd player (and there are DVDs onsite that you can borrow) Room 108, no particularly exciting view but if you look out the corner of the window, the view is phenomenal Ample outlets but on right side of bed, there's only two outlets close by, one utilized by the lamp so you'll possibly want to make use of a power strip (there actually was a power strip towards the left side of the bed) AC is a separate unit, not inside the wall Bathroom - mirror opens into three cabinets, providing even more space in addition to the draws in the lower cabinet if you're looking for the shampoo and soap, it's in the coat rack area, top shelf, upper right hand corner. No conditioner was provided by default.
