We had breakfast at the Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel. Thanks to Maria, our server, she was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly special throughout our visit. Her professionalism and genuine care stood out, and she went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Maria did an outstanding job, and we’ll definitely be coming back because of her exceptional service. Highly recommend asking for Maria if you want a memorable dining experience!

“Awesome experience”

I've never been in such a clean hotel. Staff are so friendly and glad to see you. It was such a welcoming experience. Hotel has dining, pool and hot tub. Rooms were spacious with many amenities such as bottled water, robes, shampoo and so much more

The hotel and staff were very good. We stayed a night and left for a cruise the next day. The hotel was a bit far from Canada Place (cruise port), but we got a good deal on the room, so we thought it would be worth it. The hotel and staff were very good. We stayed a night and left for a cruise the next day. The hotel was a bit far from Canada Place (cruise port), but we got a good deal on the room, so we thought it would be worth it. Cab fares were about $80 US (w/tip) from the airport and then from the hotel to the port. The nearby mall was very nice and busy, with plenty of food options, but we chose to have dinner at the hotel. The food was excellent, and the service was friendly and efficient. A surprise was the live music, which we thoroughly enjoyed (sorry, we can't recall the duo's name). This would not be the best place to stay if you want to enjoy the downtown or harbor area, but it was just fine for our needs.

“Nice property but not treated with the best customer service”

This property wasn't too bad. The room and beds were nice and the hotel is located by the mall. The front desk was kind and welcoming; however, the reason why I gave this place a 3 is because of an encounter my family and I had with a very disrespectful housekeeper who was really rude to my parents… lisää

This property wasn't too bad. The room and beds were nice and the hotel is located by the mall. The front desk was kind and welcoming; however, the reason why I gave this place a 3 is because of an encounter my family and I had with a very disrespectful housekeeper who was really rude to my parents. As a Titanium elite, we are entitled to requesting bottles of water and the lady did not want to give us more than 2 even though there was 4 of us. On top of that, my dad asked for additional coffee packets since we all like a cup in the morning and she denied him more coffee even though front desk said we can request for more coffee, tea, etc. It became a bigger issue when another housekeeper was kind enough to just give us the additional waters and coffee since that upset the first housekeeper. We asked for the rude housekeepers name since she was not wearing a name tag but she did not want to give it. When confronting her about why she denied us additional water and coffee, she went off on my mom and started yelling and pointing at her. This unfortunately decreases the reason to stay at this property. Staying at a hotel should be relaxing and non problematic and with workers who are rude to customers in general, it is not going to be the first choice hotel especially as a Marriott Titanium member. When reporting this to the manager, they said they will bring it up to the top and that housekeeper will get a performance evaluation and that they would keep us in the loop. Until this day, we never received an email or any form of communication on this case.
