I had the pleasure staying in the Explorer hotel many times over the year, the service gets better every time. As the project coordinator, I use this hotel exclusively booking our employees there. “Great Hotel for Aurora Trip”
This hotel is conveniently close to downtown so close to restaurants and stores. Tour groups will also pickup from the hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a microwave and fridge. Staff are friendly. Trader’s Grill has good food. Would come again if visiting Yellowknife.

“This wonderful hotel was our base for exploring Yellowknife.”
This wonderful hotel was our base for exploring Yellowknife. The front staff were so helpful (especially in aiding me in printing out boarding passes). It was easy to walk into Old Town and we had a lovely view of Frame Lake from our window.

“Great hotel!”
Lovely hotel and meeting rooms. Great venue and helpful staff. Food was terrific! Very nice room. Would happily stay at the Explorer again.
