I stayed at the hotel for two nights while some work was going on in my building. The property is well-maintained, close to a number of restaurants and businesses. My room was clean, modern and the wi-fi enabled music and movie streaming without issue. For the duration of my stay, floor on which the room was located was quiet. The air conditioning functioned well, even on two very hot, humid days. I took several meals at the restaurant in the hotel. The food pleased me and the service was courteous and attentive. Front desk staff greeted me and were able to assist me when needed.

Very clean very friendly environment. Nice rooms well maintained Has pool and fitness centre Room had no microwave but had one in the lobby food centre. Close to Sobeys - 6 min walk - for supplies Wish that hotels put in shower wands and head board inclines to boost value.

We stayed here as our usual hotel was under construction. Their front desk was helpful and their restaurant had a descent menu.

The hotel is perfectly fine but the rooms are less than expected at this price point, especially the non renovated rooms, which is what we got. I’m not sure why we didn’t get a renovated room. The hotel is perfectly fine but the rooms are less than expected at this price point, especially the non renovated rooms, which is what we got. I’m not sure why we didn’t get a renovated room. We got the impression we would when booking, and the hotel seemed to have plenty of vacancies. The restaurant/lounge and pool area are beautiful and in line with what one would expect from a higher end hotel but the rooms are underwhelming in comparison. Possibly the hotel should consider reduced rates for non renovated rooms. Personal touch is missing. The staff we encountered were all really nice but the hotel is promoting itself as a place for a staycation. People often take staycations on special occasions such as anniversaries, birthdays etc. In our case we did a 4 night stay for our 35th anniversary, and notified the hotel of this when booking. But there was no acknowledgment of any kind by the hotel of our milestone. This was a perfect opportunity for the hotel to add a personal touch which can make a good stay a great and memorable one. It need not be extravagant. A simple note acknowledging the milestone with perhaps a small gift or discount offer for the restaurant/lounge, or something similar would suffice. Just something to show the resort cares about their guests beyond them being just another customer. Other hotels we’ve stayed on special occasions have always offered recognition, so I’d expect nothing less at a higher end hotel. We will return to the restaurant/lounge as we really enjoyed it and the staff is wonderful but we probably would not stay at the hotel again for full price in a non renovated room.
