We loved it here, staff extremely helpful and friendly, early check in provided, ground floor lake view king room was spacious and updated, chairs and loungers outside, complimentary e-bikes, we used the pool & hot tub every day. Location was perfect, easy walking distance to Save on Foods, liquor store and downtown, caught the train right outside for a fun ride to beach, park and train museum. A HUGE highlight for us was Port701 and Brixx Pub, both with outdoor lakeside patios, Happy Hours 2-5 pm daily with excellent specials including Burgers & Chicken Tenders that were delicious, service friendly and efficient. Front desk provided $10 vouchers for every day we didn't need housekeeping, all in all this resort has everything you could ask for and more, we were extremely happy with the quality and value!

We recently stayed with the Prestige Lakeside in Nelson on a Anniversary Road Trip. This location is very well appointed, clean and inviting and the staff is very attentive and engaged. When we arrived at our room there was a lovely hand written note with a bottle of champagne which was a nice surprise. We found the location to be very walkable to downtown Nelson and the walkway along the lake was a plus. Our only suggestion would be for some hooks to be added to the bathroom so that they is a place to hang towels or housecoats. Thank you for a nice stay!

“Amazing accessible experience!!”

As a person with a disability it can be hard to find places that have a roll in shower and that meets my needs. This place is stunning - right on the lake - and the service is exceptional. “Lovely experience by the lake”

Great setting on the lake . Welcoming staff, easy parking. Reasonable pool facility. Lake view room well equipped and comfortable bed. Bathroom ok but shame shower over bath with shower curtain. Needs an upgrade to walk in shower. 15 minute walk on an incline to downtown Nelson. Just opposite tram , which is a fun way to spend an hour . Brixx brewhouse was great. Quite busy probably because 10 dollar happy hour promotion! Good to have an outside bar table watching the lake. Friendly and helpful staff , good local beer choices and excellent burger menu. Highly recommended chef led experience. I think they do different promotions of their menu most nights of the week. Well worth checking it out. Empire coffee was a big let down. The most unfriendly staff of our whole trip, unpleasant breakfast muffin, unclean and unstable table . Give it a miss,
