My wife and I stayed at The Queen Anne Inn for three nights in mid-September on the third leg of our Canada Maritimes road trip. My wife and I stayed at The Queen Anne Inn for three nights in mid-September on the third leg of our Canada Maritimes road trip. We arrived mid-afternoon and we received a warm welcome from Jenny, who told us a bit about the history of the building and promptly made a dinner reservation for us. We were assigned room 5 which was on the top floor with 42 stairs to climb. We were prepared for this, leaving our large suitcases stowed in the car and only bringing in our carry-on cases! The room was well-sized, with plenty of room to walk around the bed and to store our belongings. The air conditioning was very quiet and gave us the ideal temperature to be comfortable. The wifi was very fast and reliable. The bed was perfect with a supportive mattress and ultra smooth linens. There was a pair of armchairs and a large cupboard for hanging clothes. The bathroom had a shower over the bath - the water pressure was fine. As with everything else in the room, the towels were of a very respectable quality. They were changed every day. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts which we sampled - each day a 3 course gastronomic treat. There was always a choice between a savoury option, such as quiche or ham and cheese filled crepe or a sweet option such as banana stuffed crepes and pancakes. Breakfast is served from 8.00 - 9.30 am. As there are 7 tables set up for couples to eat and with 12 rooms in total it is worth arriving punctually if you do not wish to wait for a table to become available. This bed and breakfast accommodation has been ideally located to explore the Annapolis waterfront, with the major attractions being within walking distance or just a short drive away. It made for a perfect base and we enjoyed our stay greatly.

What a grand and stately Victorian residence on the outskirts of quaint and arty Annapolis Royal. We stayed in a two storey cottage in the grounds which was spacious and stylish. “Good stay in Annapolis”

Enjoyed two nights at this historic house in room 7. Easy parking. Friendly helpful staff. Dont take suitcases, leave in boot, decant into small bags as there are LOTS of stairs. Room fine although bed very high and mattress and pillows very hard. Nice communal lounges. Complimentary coffee and t… lisää

Enjoyed two nights at this historic house in room 7. Easy parking. Friendly helpful staff. Dont take suitcases, leave in boot, decant into small bags as there are LOTS of stairs. Room fine although bed very high and mattress and pillows very hard. Nice communal lounges. Complimentary coffee and tea. Thrilled to find very kind local taxi who took us intotown for meals and collected us again. Walk about 15 mins but we find it difficult. Really enjoyed town. Dont miss gardens and cafe, boardwalk and Lazy Daisy cafe for lunch.
