We had a wonderful experience at the Comfort Inn in Gananoque. Finding the hotel was easy, and we were pleased to see ample parking available at both the front and back. Our stay in the new section was fantastic, offering excellent access to the exit. One suggestion for improvement would be clearer signage for navigating from the back (new section) to the older front area. We were in room 148 and figured it out quickly, but we also had to assist another group with directions. Additionally, the stairs could benefit from some lighting for better visibility. These are minor points, but we hope management considers them. We loved the convenience of being able to walk into town for dinner. The hotel offered great amenities, including free breakfast and refreshing lemon water upon arrival. The bedding was exceptionally comfortable, comparable to Weston beds! Overall, we highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future. ---

“Great hotel and fantastic town”

We stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites as a family of 4 and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to family and friends. We stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites as a family of 4 and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to family and friends. It is a comfortable hotel, not luxurious, but comfortable and well equipped with an indoor pool, plenty of parking (payable) and a great location. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast staff who worked hard to keep everything topped up even at the end of the time slot. There are nice restaurants nearby and a museum, 1000 islands cruises and beach all within easy walking distance. Much smaller than the town of Kingston we were very happy with our choice to stay here. The locals are super friendly and very welcoming.

I’m not sure what more you could ask for. This would’ve been a five star review but everything has to be 100% perfect to get a five star for me. I’m not sure what more you could ask for. This would’ve been a five star review but everything has to be 100% perfect to get a five star for me. There were some minor little things not worth mentioning and did not hamper our stay or change any of our opinions. Looking at previous reviews – if you are used to staying in a five-star hotel with doorman then you’re not going to review this place accurately. The rooms were clean and smelt wonderful, the air air-conditioning and heat worked flawlessly with no weird smells. There was a fridge and a microwave in the room which typically does not Happen Without extra charges. The hallways and exterior of the building were clean. I’m not sure why people are saying it cost you to park in the parking lot because the parking lot at the hotel was free. Parking in the community is pay per use. You are within walking distance of the boat tours and a few restaurants. It is an extremely short drive to the downtown where you can find restaurants and some shops. There are a couple of museums within walking distance as well. The location is perfect. Breakfast was part of the deal. Again if you’re expecting a five star restaurant breakfast then you are going to be disappointed. The breakfast, however, was good and typical hotel buffet style with lots of choices And honestly what more could you asked for. You’re not wearing a three-piece suit when you come down to have some scrambled eggs and sausage. What does get a five star review is the staff. The front check-in clerks, both evening and night were super amazing and kind and courteous. They answered all our annoying tourist, questions and inserted local knowledge in giving suggestions of places to eat as well as things to do in the area as well as outside of the area. Cleaning staff were kind and courteous, and everyone had a smile. The wonderful ladies assisting with breakfast this morning were also extremely helpful and always had a smile. This is 100% the place we will be staying. Should we pass through this area again.

Breakfast eggs were pancake form rather than scrambled.
