We stayed at the Hôtel-Musée Premières Nations for one night so we could visit Wendake and appreciate the history of the local indigenous culture. The museum at the hotel was excellent and gave fascinating explanations of the local history. Although small and mainly static displays, the items in the museum were really interesting. A definite must and would highly recommend visiting when staying at the hotel. We also participated in ‘Myths & Legends’ evening experience which again was excellent and would thoroughly recommend. The rooms in the hotel were good and comfortable. The service in the La Traite restaurant was mixed. Whilst our evening meal took a long time to be served, the breakfast was excellent. One night was probably sufficient. Would thoroughly recommend staying at the Hôtel-Musée Premières Nations if you can when visiting Quebec to appreciate the fascinating local indigenous culture and history.

This is an extraordinary hotel that is totally unique and incredibly beautiful due to the craftmanship and care that has gone into every aspect of its design. We enjoyed our brunch at La Traite and were impressed by the selection and quality of food. There are also many activities and experiences available that can be booked via reception. We had a superior room and it was very impressive to see that so much consideration had gone into every aspect from the layout of the furniture, subtle lighting and use of natural and sustainable materials. If ever a hotel had a soul, it is this one.

“Wonderful experience for a Team activity”

Wonderful experience! the hotel was clean and the service was very attentive. We dined at the restaurant and the food and service was excellent! We visited the museum and participated in the myths and legends activity. Will certainly visit with the family.
