The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious and the beds are comfortable. Adequate storage - both wardrobe hanging and drawer, in-room small refrigerator, excellent WiFi. Convenient desk, chargers, excellent lighting. Truly blackout curtains (important!) and the motion lighting at the bottom of the bed allows one to sleep in pitch black room and yet not be disoriented should you need to get up in the middle of the night. Courtyard rooms would be quieter and the views are lovely. We had street side room and it is a just the right edge of the old port for the street to be sleepy and quiet too. Views are better in the street side- River, Ferris Wheel (lit up at night). Do not be deceived by “low” floors- it is impossible to explain, but even fourth floor towers over surrounding building. Stunning view from the roof top deck (14th floor) with the heated pool. Perfect temperature even in near zero outside air. Provided shower robes are amply warm to feel fine out of the water even in a cool breeze. Great location- edge of old port to not have throngs of tourists, reasonably short walk to metro, quiet. And yet only 5 min to the Ferris wheel and 10 to the Science center. While it aims I think at young and hip clientele, they are kind and courteous to children (had teens with me). Staff is cool but not too cool to be kind and welcoming. Food- both buffet and a-la carte breakfast was very good. Claudia at the restaurant is a treasure. Personable, warm, natural. Makes such a difference. Highly recommend.

“Amazing hotel”

Amazing location, parking was so easy, and the rooms were so comfy, updated, and the heated pool on the rooftop was incredible.

After a long day of traveling to Montréal, we were unfortunately informed that our room was not available at the promised check-in time. After a long day of traveling to Montréal, we were unfortunately informed that our room was not available at the promised check-in time. The front desk staff did not seem to understand our disappointment with this news, but after a bit of back and forth we were offered a free drink at the bar. Despite being told the front desk would alert us when our room was ready, we ended up having to check back in at the desk ourselves to find out that our room was available. After getting to our room we realized that we had not received the room we booked, but after such a long day of traveling and waiting we were simply eager to get some rest. The room itself was clean but this is definitely not the quality of customer service I expected when I opted to book us at a Hyatt Centric Property.
