“Wonderful hotel and location for a stay in Old Quebec City”

My best friend and I stayed here for 3 nights after doing the Three Pines Tour in the Eastern Townships. Loved the hotel. the location was very good, right behind the Chateau Frontenac. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go during the trip. Had the hotel provided breakfast our first morning. We had not included that in our package so it was extra. It was so-so, I wouldn't recommend it.

“Wonderful”

Great location. Attentive staff and comfortable bed. Quiet street across from a park. A/C works great. Had breakfast with stay - it was so-so.

This traditional looking property is in a perfect location in old Quebec, right next to the Château Frontenac. A basic breakfast is served in the basement lounge area adjacent to the jacuzzi. This traditional looking property is in a perfect location in old Quebec, right next to the Château Frontenac. A basic breakfast is served in the basement lounge area adjacent to the jacuzzi. The breakfast didn’t change, it’s identical every day, which would be tedious for longer stays. The room had a lovely view over the park, but the window was very small. The aircon was cold and is monitored by a central control. We found our room too cold during the day and went out to warmer locations, although it was fine for sleeping. We did mention to the reception staff that our room was cool, but nothing was done to rectify this. We would have liked a cosy room, particularly for the price, as the weather outside was only 11 degrees.The bed was comfortable, the room is very clean and the shower has good pressure, just note that the shower isn’t private at all. You can be seen from the whole room while showering as the shower is in the bedroom, no separate bathroom. The toilet is in a separate room. Amenities are basic but adequate. The property has a lift which is great when you have baggage with you for a month trip. Staff are friendly and just not the front steps are very steep.

Came with several other couples from a cruise ship trip. Had to uber from dock to hotel too far to walk uphill. There are steep stairs to the front door but someone said they have a back door to easier entry but we didn’t see any signs. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was nice but everythi… lisää

Came with several other couples from a cruise ship trip. Had to uber from dock to hotel too far to walk uphill. There are steep stairs to the front door but someone said they have a back door to easier entry but we didn’t see any signs. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was nice but everything is in French. Breakfast is continental with juices, yogurt breads etc. they have a free coffee machine for Americano, latte and expressos. But breakfast opens at 8am so not good if you have an early flight out.
