We were tracking back to Ontario and thought a place on the water would be a nice last hotel before home. The Auberge consisted of several detached buildings with a variety of rooms in each building. I thought I had booked as water view on line but at check in discovered was not the case and all the water view rooms were booked. Although disappointed, the room we had was very modern and very clean and spacious. We had dinner in the pub at the resort and did get a water view table and very friendly server. This is a very nice resort - the one caveat I would suggest is to call the Auberge directly when booking to inquire about water view rooms as the website is not clear on which rooms face the water,

“Great location on St lawrence.”

We arrived the week after Labour Day, still nice for evening drink outside and view of St Lawrence and the summer crowds had thinned. Dinner on site options were good.

The hotel consists of multiple outbuildings of various sizes and ages, located on a hill. The main reception is welcoming and if you like good food and comfortable seating with spectacular River views, this is certainly a good place to be. The hotel offers a fine dining experience and also a more relaxed cafe/bar with river views. These fill up quickly, so reserve a spot early on. We had dinner at the cafe and it was delicious, with a good choice of wines and beers. Our room was a completely refurbished "motel" style room. Clean and pleasant. If you have mobility needs, bear in mind that there is sloping terrain and stairs into and out of the buildings, so talk to the reception before you book!

“Good clean large hotel/motel.”

This is a large hotel that is very spread out. It’s more of a collection of motels on the same property. Our room was simple and clean. The bed was comfortable. The views over the St. Lawrence are amazing. The coffee and food are expensive. The pool and spa are very nice. The grounds are well kept … lisää
