The location of the hotel was ideal, it was central to grocery stores, of coarse Timmy’s and Starbucks , great restaurants and across the street from Wal-Mart, very close to everything. Upon arriving at the hotel, with lots of parking, I noticed the beautiful flowers! Oh my, coming from BC they were very colourful, I was really taken back at the beauty! The staff at the front desk were so friendly and accommodating to our questions and needs, they also spoke English. Our room was ready and check in was a breeze! I noticed how clean the hotel was , the floors entrance etc. Our room was sparkling clean and the bedding so lovely, our room was by the pool. I loved the curtains as they were the blackouts ones with sheer behind. The bed was so comfortable. There were beautiful clean white towels at the pool deck and the shelf was always full of nearly folded towels.. Our room was , despite being right at the pool. The pool was always kept clean and there was a lifeguard during certain hours Most of all was how helpful everyone was, in the dining / restaurant of the hotel were the most amazing staff, the one gentleman (I didn’t get his name) went over backwards to accommodate my needs, giving or including a knife to cut my pineapple I had bought at the grocery store across the street, even offering me wine glasses. By the way the food was excellent! It is not cheap but every cent was worth it. The staff at this hotel all deserve a big applause, we loved the ladies who cleaned our rooms! Even though one couldn’t speak English we communicated and were joking with her too! All in all this hotel deserves a 10, next summer we will be back and without a doubt Hotel La Sagueneenne will get our business, hands down! Thank you for the wonderful experience!
