The room was clean. Very well located and easy to walk to the Jets' game. Good continental breakfast. The parking lot was small during the winter and they had some water problems in the yard, but they worked to clear the drain. The windows were a little dated, but we had a nice view of the Human Rights Museum from our room.

“Will stay again!”

We got a 2 queen room, it was very spacious with a sofa, an armchair, a desk and 2 chairs, and plenty of room in between. It looks renovated. Very clean. I was impressed. We got a 2 queen room, it was very spacious with a sofa, an armchair, a desk and 2 chairs, and plenty of room in between. It looks renovated. Very clean. I was impressed. The location is central - easy walk to the Forks as well as rest of downtown. There was a train right in front of our window, but it didn't bother us at all. We always keep a low volume sound machine on at night anyway for the kids. The free breakfast was sufficient with hot and cold items. We enjoyed it on all 3 days. Definitely great value!

“Clean, affordable and great location”

Check in was easy. Parking in the back is $12 a day which is not bad for downtown. Excellent location for visiting the Forks, Canadian Human Rights Museum, Winnipeg Waterways, etc. The room and facility was clean. Check in was easy. Parking in the back is $12 a day which is not bad for downtown. Excellent location for visiting the Forks, Canadian Human Rights Museum, Winnipeg Waterways, etc. The room and facility was clean. The AC in the room worked perfectly but the hallways and common areas were very hot. We did visit during a heat wave but it didn’t seem they used AC for these areas or it was turned very low so it was quite warm in these areas. Our bed was comfortable but it seemed like the boxspring was broken or something because it was noisy. The shower ceiling and tub surround showed signs of water damage that had not been properly repaired and was painted over, but it wasn’t terrible. Just not pretty and gave the shower a bit of a dingy, run down feeling. The free breakfast was not very good. Too many people struggled to get anything because they do not keep items well stocked, even something as simple as forks and hard boiled eggs. Do not recommend relying on getting a decent breakfast here. OEB is just down the street. Go there and get a proper breakfast and coffee. The price reflects the hotel. It’s more affordable than an air bnb and most hotels in the area. While decor is a dated, it’s safe and clean and you should be able to get a good sleep. While nothing fancy at all, I would stay here again since I do not spend much time in the room.

“Photocopying credit card”

During check-in, I was asked if the hotel could photocopy my credit card as part of the $200 security deposit process. I declined, and the staff respected my decision they did not photocopy it. During check-in, I was asked if the hotel could photocopy my credit card as part of the $200 security deposit process. I declined, and the staff respected my decision they did not photocopy it. However, I was surprised that this was requested in the first place. I’ve stayed at many hotels that require a security deposit, but I’ve never been asked to have my credit card photocopied. I’m genuinely curious about the purpose of this policy, especially when the deposit can be handled through a standard pre authorization on the card. It would be helpful if the hotel explained why a photocopy is requested and how guests’ financial information would be protected if they agree to it.
