Had a good experience with staying at your hotel. We were quoted a rate on the phone for the night and were pleased to be advised at the desk of a 25 percent discount which brought it to a very reasonable price for “up north”. The desk staff were very pleasant as well. We stayed on June 10th. I will hope I get the name of the desk agent close (Armin?) please accept our apologies if this isn’t right. Thanks again!

“Excellent”

Best hotel of six on our trip so far, all supposedly the same grade. Friendly staff, even overnight. Good size room with comfortable bed. Endless supply of coffee pods (just ask). We didn’t use the small restaurant but did make use of the free shuttle back to the airport as it was raining! So real… lisää

We arrived slightly worried by reading a few of the previous reviews but there was absolutely nothing to have worried about. We arrived slightly worried by reading a few of the previous reviews but there was absolutely nothing to have worried about. Very friendly and helpful staff across the board and nothing too much trouble for any of them. Room was very clean and comfortable with everything you need in it. We are big coffee drinkers but asking for more was greeted with a big smile and a ‘no problem’. Bed was comfortable and room spacious. I would recommend this hotel and if ever back this is where I will stay.

We had a very comfortable stay at Nova Inn Yellowknife. We booked a large Deluxe Queen Suite with a kitchenette and a sitting area with a sofa, which made it feel spacious and practical for our trip. Yes, the furniture is a bit outdated, but everything was clean, warm, comfortable, and cozy - which mattered much more to us. The king-size bed was a highlight: an incredibly comfortable mattress, heavenly bedding, and fantastic double pillows. After long nights of chasing the aurora, it truly felt like bliss to sink into such a great bed and get a proper night’s sleep. The location is also excellent - perfectly situated between Old Town and downtown, with everything within easy walking distance. I also want to mention the staff, as I was surprised to see some negative comments in other reviews. Everyone we encountered during our three-night stay was genuinely kind and helpful. On our last day, we asked if a later checkout would be possible so we could align with the (free!) airport shuttle, and they happily accommodated us since it wasn’t too busy after the weekend. We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay and would definitely consider coming back.
