Returning to this hotel for my second visit only confirmed why I consider it one of the absolute best properties in China. Once again, the hospitality here is unmatched. From the moment I arrived, the concierge made me feel incredibly welcome, greeting me with a refreshing welcome tea that set the perfect tone for the rest of my stay. The entire team radiates genuine warmth and professionalism. A special shout-out must go to the personal concierge team. They truly went above and beyond, anticipating my needs and handling every detail of my stay with flawless execution and care. It’s rare to find a team so consistently passionate and attentive. Between the prime location, the outstanding amenities, and a team that consistently delivers world-class service, this has officially become my go-to hotel. Thank you for another unforgettable stay. This was my second stay at Waldorf Astoria Xiamen, and somehow it felt even better than the first. The hotel is beautiful, well maintained, and the team genuinely makes you feel welcome. There are plenty of dining options in the hotel. I especially enjoyed the authentic Hokkien cuisine, and the quality of the food was excellent throughout my stay. I also had the chance to try the food pairing experience at Peacock Alley. The combination of food and craft beer was surprisingly good, and the outdoor seating area had a relaxed atmosphere that was perfect for winding down in the evening. Overall, Waldorf Astoria Xiamen remains my favorite hotel in Xiamen and will definitely be my first choice whenever I visit the city.

This is our first introduction to the Waldorf Astoria. We were initially considering the Conrad and the W for this stay, but decided on the WA as we wanted to experience a new brand and we liked the room decor. Bath amenities are from Aesop. Automated heated Toto washlet is provided. Sanitary fittings are from Dornbracht. Paired with the Rosso Levanto marble bath, it looks stunning and clearly no expense was spared. The hotel is beautiful and our room overlooked the park. The kids enjoyed playing in the park with the locals, who were friendly. Breakfast had a varied selection and we enjoyed both the local and international spread. What made this stay exceptional was the concierge support from Jackson. We wanted local picks, and every recommendation was spot-on. He also suggested an excursion to watch dragon boat races as it was happening the weekend. Thank you to the entire team for a lovely stay.

“The best hotel we have ever been in”

This hotel is not less than astonishing. Room is perfect, big , huge bathroom , all amenities, complete. Breakfast is great , western as well as Chinese. Service of staff excellent. Really top of the top ! Unfortunately didn’t have the time to enjoy all services.
