“Nice Hotel, Spacious and Comfortable!”

This is the third and last hotel we stayed in our recent trip to Xiamen and Chaoshan. It's a nice and big hotel and the lobby was huge and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our room was spacious, bright, clean and cosy, we rested well as the beds were comfortable. There's even a big sofa and writting desk. The toilet was huge too, with a big bathtub. Room service was well done too. The front desk staff and security were helpful and friendly. I have pre-ordered items from Taobao and had them delivered to the hotel first before I checked in. They happily received the items and well kept the items. Upon checking in, they helped me to "locate" my items patiently from their store room. Well done. The breakfast at the hotel had quite a good spread, comprising of international and local dishes. However, the live cooking station (where the chef cooked fresh noodles and soup) was not setup/ready when the cafe opened at 6.30am. It took them quite a while to be ready to serve food (around 7.15am), and so if you are rushing for time to embark your day tour (most started at 7.30am), you may not be able to try that. Other than that, the other foods were ok and nice. The location of the hotel was great. Within a 100-200m of walk, there were rows of eateries, shops, supermarkets and convenience stores around. And in addition, a night street market where you can get to see, buy, eat local delicacies and food, fashion and shoes, bags, toys and barber shops etc. Very crowded. We enjoyed our stay here!

“Good place”

A really good hotel in the middle of the island. All was nice and very clean. I tried the foot spa where the prices are very fair. They also offer a body massage, where the most will be over clothes. Only the back was with oil directly on the skin. The surrounding is not too nice, with old building… lisää

“Good Business Hotel”

If you are interested in a good standard business hotel, close to the airport, at a reasonable price, the Miramar fits the bill. The rooms are clean, the staff are courteous and helpful. This is an older style hotel, so while the hotel (and rooms) have all the amenity, the rooms in the main wing ar… lisää

If you are interested in a good standard business hotel, close to the airport, at a reasonable price, the Miramar fits the bill. The rooms are clean, the staff are courteous and helpful. This is an older style hotel, so while the hotel (and rooms) have all the amenity, the rooms in the main wing are very dated (but clean) and lack the most modern creature comforts (large TV, USB ports, luxury bathroom etc). Like a 1970's time warp. Breakfast is good. Without traffic, the hotel is only 15 minutes to the airport by car.
