We had a truly memorable stay at Le Méridien Xiaojing Bay last weekend. As a Lifetime Platinum member, I chose this hotel to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. The corner suite we were given was incredible—floor-to-ceiling windows with 270-degree sea views. Watching the sunrise right from our bed was a highlight, and the huge balcony made it hard to leave the room! A big thank you to Camilla, who made the celebration extra special with a surprise birthday cake and sparkling wine. The cake was delicious, and my girlfriend loved it. The attention to detail was much appreciated. I also enjoyed the evening Happy Hour for elite members—the cocktails were well-made, and the vibe was relaxed. The hotel's nightly entertainment was a nice touch and added to the holiday feeling. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful, even during busy moments. Special thanks to Janet and Camilla for their warm hospitality—they really made us feel valued. We’ll definitely be back for future weekend breaks, and I’ve already started recommending this place to my friends.

We had a family trip during the weekend. It is a great hotel with amazing sea view for all rooms. The well-designed room is large and clean. The breakfast has various choices. I would also like to specially say thank you to manager Zhang Ziyang who helped to clear up the misunderstanding in a very professional way. It is a great replacement for Sanya for people in Great Bay. I am from HK, and it just took few hours to get to the hotel via Highspeed rail. It is really a good choice for long weekend to relax on the beautiful beach. I am a Marriott Titanium member. Although there is no lounge, it provides some complimentary cakes and drinking during late afternoon, and some of the cakes tastes really good. I have visited some Le Meridien Hotels before, but Le Meridien Xiaojing Bay is definitely the best one.

“Nice beach resort”

We live in Hong Kong and decided to explore one of the nearby beach resorts in the Guangdong province. We decided to check out Huizhou. We were here during the low season. We live in Hong Kong and decided to explore one of the nearby beach resorts in the Guangdong province. We decided to check out Huizhou. We were here during the low season. Good experience but probably won’t be back. Nice Sandy beach but not great for swimming or at least when we were there. The water was cloudy and it was a good day. As for the hotel, it’s a huge property. 9 years old but well kept. Service was good but not consistent. We booked a basic room and was upgraded to their top floor corner suite due to our elite Marriott status. Huge room and clean. The best part is the view. Quite stunning. Nice outdoor and indoor pool. Gym has adequate machines. We rented some bicycles from the hotel but you can do better with one of the many outside bicycle rental shops. As for food. It’s mediocre. We only had breakfast and “happy hour” with drinks and snacks from 5:30-8:30 since they do not have a lounge. Good location being one of the first building along the stretch of high rise condos on the beach. The beach seems less crowded. It is walking distance to many restaurants. Overall, it’s a great place to come to unwind, have nice meals and lay out by pool or beach. Not much else to do other than that. I think Hainan island has more to offer if you don’t mind spending a bit more on flight and traveling time.
