“Nice Hotel for the money”

I needed a room last minute in Changsha, and stayed at Jasmine International. While the staff speaks limited English, the manager named Nav is from Punjab, India and he speaks fluent English. I needed a room last minute in Changsha, and stayed at Jasmine International. While the staff speaks limited English, the manager named Nav is from Punjab, India and he speaks fluent English. He took care of my booking, made sure I was well taken care of, and gave me discount coupon to the spa. Great service from Nav. I had a foot massage at the spa. Very good massage, reasonably priced, about half of the normal fees in New York. My room included complimentary breakfast buffet, which was ok. For the money, this hotel stay was very good. There is a Subway sandwich place next door, for those who get tired of eating Chinese.

“It should be named Black Tulip...”

First thing you notice about the hotel is black color...everywhere it is black...so depressive. Room size is decent but windows have vinyl curtains..very tacky. Bed is good. They have a messy restaurant food is too too oily. The coffee shop coffee is good. They have an Indian manager Navdeep Singh, who speaks Chinese beautifully.

I would struggle to class this as an international hotel. Not many of the staff speak any English at all. The room was dated and a bit tired. I would struggle to class this as an international hotel. Not many of the staff speak any English at all. The room was dated and a bit tired. The floor of my shower and toilet was corrugated metal and felt very industrial. The seals on all of the windows have blown and subsequently the room was very cold and the temperature outside was 5degrees. Breakfast was very disappointing. The only thing that was hot was the coffee. Onion rings and chips and usually a breakfast option. There was a huge leak in the hotel whist we were staying the wasn’t ideal.
