“Great hotel and amazing service!”

The hotel is beautiful and there are many restaurants close by and many activities for the kids around. The check in staff and managers are very well trained and the service is one of th le best in China I will go back again for sure!

Good location, steps away from ski lift, extremely convenient and a good place for the family to learn how to ski/snowboard. Slopes are beginner to intermediate, and snowfall is surprisingly good for this part of the country. Ski rental equipment and ski pass all provided with room rate and instructors are very affordable. Only challenge is that food options are not that plenty.

This Hyatt Regency was probably once quite charming, but it is poorly maintained and seems to be falling apart at the seams. The rooms are quite scuffed up. There were holes in my screen door. There were literally drill holes in the frame of the balcony door that had never been fixed - this is somewhat surprising because it can get quite cold in the winter here. There is some sort of mold or slime in the showers. There is dust everywhere. The AC clanked (but was fixed). The mattress saga. The room smells faintly of mildew or some other dampness. This is a shame because the location is beautiful and the rooms are thoughtfully designed and constructed using good materials. The staff is also generally quite nice and eager to help, but not consistent. For example I asked the engineer to look at my AC unit after a certain time because I needed to do some work in the room, but the engineer came an hour earlier than requested. However, in all props to the hotel, after I mentioned the screens had holes, the hotel arranged an engineer to install a new screen door on the spot. This type of service is amazing and appreciated, but one wonders why the hotel didn’t notice a very holey screen before one of its guests. I stayed in room 2329. I don’t recommend rooms on this side of the hotel because they overlook a pedestrian thoroughfare lined by restaurants and shops, and it can get very loud. I would highly recommend you choose your view carefully if you choose to stay at this hotel.
