We enjoyed our stay at the Emeishan Century Sunshine Hotel. The property is a little tired and would have been truly impressive in its day, but it remains a comfortable and convenient place to stay. We enjoyed our stay at the Emeishan Century Sunshine Hotel. The property is a little tired and would have been truly impressive in its day, but it remains a comfortable and convenient place to stay. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options. Unfortunately the coffee machine was broken. The hotel location makes it easy to explore the local area and access the main attractions around Emeishan.

“Its Okay For A Night”

Booked by the tour company and it was alright for the 1 night stay, good sleep in a comfy bed. There was no swimming pool as advertised and breakfast was good except there was no coffee as the machine broke down. A small market along the road with a a few places to eat. We found somewhere for diner… lisää

There was no swimming pool as advertised and breakfast was good except there was no coffee as the machine broke down. A small market along the road with a a few places to eat. We found somewhere for diner and pointed at the pics on the wall, food was tasty and service was great, and so cheap.

“Needs Love ”

Our room looked quite rundown at closer inspection. The carpets need replacing and there was some water damage on the walls. I also had to make the bed to take my photos 😆 Housekeeping was poor with fingerprints on the bathroom mirror etc, overall the room felt grubby. The breakfast buffet was ok. … lisää

I also had to make the bed to take my photos 😆 Housekeeping was poor with fingerprints on the bathroom mirror etc, overall the room felt grubby. The breakfast buffet was ok. They also allow smoking inside... Not much in the area (dinner was impossible to find), ok for an overnighter on tour but I wouldn't personally book this myself

“The rooms let this hotel down.”

As the title suggests, the dirty, tired, dated and super smelly rooms let this hotel down. The hotel foyer, cafes, restaurants are a 4star rating - never been sick, or got sick eating their - breakfast, lunch or dinner. OK this will make you laugh ...... As the title suggests, the dirty, tired, dated and super smelly rooms let this hotel down. The hotel foyer, cafes, restaurants are a 4star rating - never been sick, or got sick eating their - breakfast, lunch or dinner. OK this will make you laugh ...... At check-in, the reception staff are quick to remind you that the rooms are strictly non-smoking - RIGHT! So, the first thing you notice when you get into your room, other than the filthy carpet is the strong smell of cigarette smoke, which seems to be impregnated into all the furnishings and linens. Also, when you shower - cigarette butts come floating out from behind the bath. We were lucky to get the AC to work. The beds were hard. No issue with the staff though. Noodle bar was the best thing in the cafe/restaurant.
