Metropolo Jinjiang Hotel (Shenyang Beiyi Road Wanda Plaza)

“Okay....”

This is one of the hotel in our tour itinerary that was arranged for us. Breakfast buffet were okay. Room were clean and comfy. But heater very difficult to adjust. Were asked to walk very far from our coach to the lobby which was too inconvenient with our big luggage

Wifi was good enough for North East of China, and room was clean and new. Carpets in the corridor seemed a little old and dirty, and lift was small and felt a little claustrophobic. This is one of the better typical Chinese business hotels, so if you are on a budget, this is good enough. There was consistent hot water for a shower, and i was thankful since it was very cold that night. Ask for the room away from the lift as it gets noisy when drunk guests come back at night.

The room was a decent size, relatively clean and with nice amenities. Free internet connection. The price was quite reasonable and the location was convenient. The bed was "Chinese hard" and the pillows quite flat. The AC did not stay at a cool temp, but would stop cooling half way through the night. There was a leak from the ceiling...supposedly from the AC.(Maybe this is why the AC didn't work right!) Someone came and "fixed" it, but it continued to leak for the entire 4 days we were there. The leak was in the toilet area and we used our hand towels to soak up the water and then after our showers we used out bath towels. Although we mentioned the leak more than once after it was "fixed", it was not taken care of, nor were we offered another room. Very little English was spoken by any of the staff. Breakfast was simple, but we found enough to eat, even if it was not our "first choice" selection.

Stayed in Shenyang for quite abit this month for work and was in this hotel for most of the time. Decided to review it coz it is rather value for money. Rooms are clean and simple. There is also lan connection. Breakfast is provided for most packages but the array and choices are very simple. Overall, good place to stay because it is very near to all amenities. It is right in the middle of 2 malls and opposite a bank. I will recommend this place for a more long term business stay.
