“5-star Hotel, hope they can keep the standards up”

My husband booked 2 nights in a pricier room when we arrived in Hohhot. I booked a cheaper (most basic) room for our last evening but were upgraded on checkin. My husband booked 2 nights in a pricier room when we arrived in Hohhot. I booked a cheaper (most basic) room for our last evening but were upgraded on checkin. The rooms are lovely, layout is great, beds are comfortable and clean. Bathroom is fantastic - huge bathtub with really good quality amenities. Breakfast in the coffee shop was also really good, much better than many international 5-star hotels I have been to in China. My only gripe is that the second time we stayed we had bed turn down service (not requested) in the evening and they brought yogurt, fruit platter and a lovely little keychain, can’t understand why there wasn’t any of this the first time we stayed when we had booked a much more expensive room.

The rooms at the Wanda Vista are spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom is quite big, with a bath & shower. There is an average sized gym, with a nice selection of machines and weights. There is also a spa area, with a pool and sauna. I had access to the Executive Lounge, which was well… lisää

The rooms at the Wanda Vista are spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom is quite big, with a bath & shower. There is an average sized gym, with a nice selection of machines and weights. There is also a spa area, with a pool and sauna. I had access to the Executive Lounge, which was well stocked. The restaurant has a wide selection of food, including Chinese and Western foods. The only small problem is the lack of English (or other foreign language) speaking staff. It is sometimes very difficult to explain what is needed. However, having said that, the staff is lovely and always ready to help. The hotel is situated next to a big shopping mall and in a lively area with restaurants. Unfortunately I didn't have time to visit the area so I cannot say if it is close to Touristic places or other places of interest.

“Just ok”

We arrived late and the front desk was quite confused dealing with 6 flight crew members and our team of 3 people. It took several minutes until they started to check in the guests amid their own confusion. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is average quality with good variety.
