I have stayed in this hotel several times in the last few months or years, I am extremely grateful to the concierge at the hotel. In particular, I want to give a big compliment to the employee Wei Yu Gao (I might be wrong with the spelling as his Chinese name is very difficult for me to understand). He has helped me so many times during each stay. On one occasion, I had an issue with losing a PC charge, he went out of his way to stores back and forth to try to solve it for me. He is a man without many words but a lot of actions. On this particular stay, I wanted to leave some tips for him as it is Chinese New Year. Not only he did not accept it, he brought it back to my hotel room and told me that it was his job to serve customers. It was really, really unbelievable. I would like to give special feedback to the hotel management and highlly recommend the hotel to everyone. On the same note, the manager at the hotel is also beneficial in helping me to find out all the solutions I was looking for. They are so helpful and know their customers by heart, you have a feeling of at home. Also, their dinning room has been renovated with beautiful settings and floors, very nice.

“Great Hotel”

Loved the breakfast buffet. The hotel staff was wonderful and very attentive. The afternoon tea was a surprise considering that the hotel did not have an executive lounge. Loved the breakfast buffet. The hotel staff was wonderful and very attentive. The afternoon tea was a surprise considering that the hotel did not have an executive lounge. Though the selection during afternoon teas was limited, but you practically get the entire place to yourself with tea, coffee, beer, juice, fresh fruits and some sweets. This was my first time staying in this DoubleTree hotel and well worth it. It's close to the subways that could easily take you anywhere in the city.

“Decent ambiente with some issues”

Generally decent ambiente, relatively modern and shiny. Beds good, service mostly ok. Toilet cabin stinks and they seem to not clean the toilets in public lounge area frequently. Generally decent ambiente, relatively modern and shiny. Beds good, service mostly ok. Toilet cabin stinks and they seem to not clean the toilets in public lounge area frequently. Fancy room toilet is annoying and got clogged once which made us having to use the dishustingly dirty public toilets downstairs. Service has the usual low training problems, e.g. they dont listen and bring you the wrong stuff or say your card is programmed for late check out but then it isnt and the front desk manager couldnt care any less than she already does. Nice breakfast ambiente in 27th floor with decent choices. If and when they grow up and are able to operate the place without frequent mistakes then it would definitely be a 4 or even 5.
