Firstly it has excellent position 3 minutes from the airport. The hotel is very impressively decorated and has good facilities. Very friendly staff and great room. The only problem was that there was a bath rather than shower unit and water was luke warm and low pressure. I only stayed one night but will definitely return if i have business in the area.

“walking distance from airport”

The only reason you would want to stay here is that it's literary at walking distance from the airport, about 10 minutes at normal pace. Other than that the rooms are old, entirely made of plastic, with a bit of dirty feeling to it. But that's ok for one night before catching an early flight...

Hotel is really only a 5 min drive from the airport. Took a shuttle bus in the morning to the airport. The bus however went first to another hotel to pick up more guests. Hotel is really only a 5 min drive from the airport. Took a shuttle bus in the morning to the airport. The bus however went first to another hotel to pick up more guests. Seems to be an 3rd party taxi / shuttle provider. Rooms are quite large, but of old design, my guess is about 20 years. Bathroom only has a bathtub. Water quantity was not too good. The bathroom made a very old and used impression. Beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Internet was bad, with a VPN being blocked. Skype and Facetime worked barely. It is Wifi based and it seems that each room has a router / hotspot that you can use, once the power is on in the room. Breakfast I did not try, as I had to leave at 06:00 in the morning and breakfast only starts at 06:30. Too late for an airport hotel. And yes, I got a "massage" call - and yes, I refused and yes, some people want to sleep at 22:00.... Room was not too clean and everything looked very old and worn out. Electric plugs are about 2 meters away from the bed, hence no electricity next to it. There are several western managed hotels around the airport, better chose them.

I have been there a few times and the main attarction of thsi hotel is proximity to the international airport. If you are to walk with a wheeld suitcase, that will take you less than 5 minutes without coming across any stairs, lift or elevator. The rooms are good-size ones with office executive desk and chair, PC set with free wi-fi connection and a fax machine. This is a pretty old hotel, but the physical condition remain acceptable. You can have very decent local and imported seafood dishes by picking the right sea fish and shellfish on the ground floor and then waiting to be served in the Chinese eatery nextdoors or upstairs. The bad thing about the place is that sometimes you will find problems like broken wheel of your executive chair or the lamp being out of order in your room. The hotel is very popular among local people for feasts for wedding. So be prepared for fire-craker noise all a sudden in the morning. It is very far away from the city centre of Qingdao. That could be a problem especially on Monday to Friday as traffic condition will affect the time to be taken in a car ride very much. Expect 90 minutes one way in the worst case. The hotel room rate is very competitive as an airport hotel with reasonably-priced food downstairs and surprisingly quiet nights despite being next to the airport.
