I had 2 different rooms over 3 nights based on multiple stays and found this hotel to have several positive aspects as well as some challenges. - Room size: The rooms both had ample and varying sizes. - Room condition: One room looked like it was either updated / did not look very “worn” while the other definitely looked well used. - Room - sound: I could hear my neighbors (talking, coughing) which was a slight issue / something to note if you are a light sleeper/ annoyed by such items. - Bed: Very comfortable. - Staff: Very helpful and friendly - Breakfast buffet: Good selection and quality that seemed to vary a bit every now and then. - Location: Very nice Overall: This was a decent place to stay and one that would be considered for future travel this way.

“Good 4* hotel”

We changed to this hotel and were very satisfied. Nice rooms, comfortable beds and good breakfast. Also effective clinic in the hotel for treating altitude sickness. Some reception staff speaks english

“Good location and service, not Sheraton quality ”

Given the limited availability of high quality services (hotels and restaurants) in Lhasa, the Sheraton is ok for a few nights. The staff is very responsive and helpful. Things that irked us - not given connecting rooms for a family of 4, key card system not working, ACs in both rooms not working … lisää

Given the limited availability of high quality services (hotels and restaurants) in Lhasa, the Sheraton is ok for a few nights. The staff is very responsive and helpful. Things that irked us - not given connecting rooms for a family of 4, key card system not working, ACs in both rooms not working and no dinner offered at the hotel. Being walking distance to Barkor street is attractive, but if we were to visit again, we would stay at the spanking new intercontinental which is a bit away from Old Town but ultimately more convenient, including a button that releases oxygen in each room.
