I chose this hotel because there was a promotion during the time I was looking for a hotel and I trusted the IHG standard. To be honest when looking for a hotel in China, as a non Chinese speaker, sometimes language could be a barrier but with Chain hotel, they always have someone who would try to understand you and help you. This hotel has English speaking staff and even those one who could not , they were so kind and ready to help you. I stayed for just 1 night and i came back late and was so hungry so i tried to order Mcdonalds and the staff were kind enough to let me borrow her mobile number to order the food and she went beyond by offering to send to the room by the robot. It was the first time that a robot was gonna send me my food. It was fun and thank you again for helping me ;). About the hotel location, it's next to a big shopping mall with supermarket and a pop mart shop. From this location to go anywhere in town by Didi were so cheap. The room was nice and the breakfast had a lot of choices. I would come back and stay here again.

The hotel is located ca. 10 min walking distance from the Dongfeng Square Metro Station. Also, within this distance is Kunming Center shopping mall and Zhenqing Taoist Temple. The hotel is located ca. 10 min walking distance from the Dongfeng Square Metro Station. Also, within this distance is Kunming Center shopping mall and Zhenqing Taoist Temple. The restaurant in the second floor offers a buffet dinner with a good selection of dishes. But in the streets behind there are local alternatives. On the opposit side of the street and about 50 m towards the West there is a bar "Have a good time". Is in terms of prices on the upper end but can offer good foood and if you need rare wines and craft beers

“Good stay in city centre”

Convenient location, short walk (less than 5 minutes) to nearby new shopping mall, not far from the Old Street. Located between 2 mrt stations. Though slightly older, the room was clean enough and on a higher floor the view out to the city was quite nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a … lisää
