Hidden gem, relaxed old Greece pension type accommodation.Room clean bed linen and towels changed regularly. Breakfast basic but adequate. Lovely swimming pool very relaxed and quiet. “Nice place!”

We were met by the Director in the port upon our arrival. The room was small but very cozy. We could use the pool on the day we were leaving the hotel, and there was no problem at all. There are two downsides, though: if you have a light sleep, you will probably be awaken by the noise of the street… lisää

We were met by the Director in the port upon our arrival. The room was small but very cozy. We could use the pool on the day we were leaving the hotel, and there was no problem at all. There are two downsides, though: if you have a light sleep, you will probably be awaken by the noise of the street, so it's better to bring the earplugs with you. The breakfast is served from 9:30 to 10, and it is quite late if you want to go to the beach earlier on. Apart from these two downsides, it was great.

Lovely welcome in the port by the owner. The hotel is around a five minute walk into the town. A slight incline coming back but nothing to worry about. The staff at Galini are lovely and so helpful. Positives Traditionally Greek Lovely helpful staff Spotlessly clean rooms Good breakfast not the hugest of choice but enough and fresh,loved the terrace where the breakfast is held Location is excellent On street parking No extra charges for the safe or air con which I was amazed by Negatives The shower is tiny, if you are not a slim person you will struggle to get in and bending over is virtually impossible to pick something up The pool area needs more parasols, one is not enough. More sun beds as there are only 5. However in defence of the owner the pool was rarely used and we had it to ourselves most days. Hard mattress was hard to lie on Would I return here? Absolutely, love the Greek experience and after 11 nights the hard bed didn’t matter. Alonnosis is a beautiful island and I will miss it
