After admitting our Mother into the local Hygeia Hospital we made our way to the Urban. It was lovely to be welcomed so warmly by our fabulous hosts John and Toula. The property was in an ideal location to the Hygeia Hospital for our visits. Stylish and beautifully furnished apartments in the Northern suburb of Marousi surrounded by a lush garden. The units are serviced daily by friendly and amiable staff. Air conditioned which is imperative in summer. Kiosk next door on the park, Mini market around the corner. Bakery across the road and AB supermarket 10 min easy walk away, the Golden Hall Shopping mall is a 15 min walk on the flat - we also walked to the fashionable Chalandri district for dinner and shopping. 20 minutes to Athens central by taxi and if you need a swim 30 mins to Porto Rafti. A great stay with lovely caring hosts.

“Urban in Marousi”

My stay at Urban Residence was excellent. Stayed there twice because of a long time friend who was hospitalized nearby. My stay at Urban Residence was excellent. Stayed there twice because of a long time friend who was hospitalized nearby. The amenities, service, cleanliness location and the owners of Urban Residence became family to me. I stayed in 2 different rooms and they were both amazing in decor as well. I also walked around the area a few times and visited Golden Hall Mall located close by. Food can easily be ordered as well to the apts. Security and parking are also excellent.

“Exceptional apartment hotel!”

We wanted to be close to the airport for our return flight to Canada yet we were not impressed with the hotels near the airport after reading the reviews. A Greek friend recommended Urban Residence for our last night in Athens after we flew back from Milos. We were thrilled with the place. The Urban Residence is in the Marousi district of north Athens, near the Olympic Stadium and closer to the airport than downtown Athen's hotels. The area is an upscale residential area and very clean. Urban Residence is an apartment hotel. The owners, Toula and her husband, were very welcoming even though we were only staying one night. Toula and her family thought of every detail for a comfortable stay when they renovated the units recently. The building and the units are spotless and exceptionally well decorated. All the furnishings are top quality and extremely comfortable. Our unit was well equipped with dishes and cooking utensils along with everything we needed for our stay, including quality linens and toiletries. We felt like we were in a family home instead of a rental property. The balcony was the full length of the unit and had very comfortable padded chairs for enjoying the view. Toula will arrange a taxi transfer from the airport or the port if you provide her with your arrival information. We highly recommend the Urban Residence for your next visit to Athens. Staying there for our last night in Greece was a wonderful end to our trip. The only disappointment was that we were there for only one night and we wished we could have stayed longer.

We found this residence by luck as most of the hotels in kifissia area were fully booked and we wanted to stay close to the area in order to find houses (we are about to move to Greece). We found this residence by luck as most of the hotels in kifissia area were fully booked and we wanted to stay close to the area in order to find houses (we are about to move to Greece). This residence propose well decorated apartments and the pictures on the website are real. The residence does not propose any food but you can find shops and restaurants around. The most valuable asset is the very good welcome of the owners and they are always ready to provide you advices and to call a taxi. For sure if you want to visit mostly the city center of Athens, you will be a bit far away. The residence is very close to the area of maroussi, kifissia, the Olympic stadium and other facilities like Olympic swimming pool. We really enjoyed it.
