“Perfect peaceful stay”

Hydra is perfect and Hydra Chromata was great choice to stay. It is beautiful, clean and peaceful. The beds were very comfortable, the air conditioning was great and the location perfect. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely return.

I have not been to Hydra before, so I didn't know where to stay so I picked Hydras Chromata based on reviews. We stayed in the Senior apartment. This was an awesome place, very spacious 2 bedroom 2.5 bath with a large living room and kitchen which separates the 2 bedrooms. There is a great restaurant steps away and a grocery store perhaps 50 meters away. The port is a 2 minute walk. Anna, the host, was great. Every morning there was fresh bread hanging on the door. The fridge was stocked with milk orange juice, meat and cheese for snacks plus yogurt and other breakfast treats. I will only stay here when we return. No regrets.

“Excellent, but they need to improve customer relations.”

We had an exhibition at the Hydra museum [Sculptures by Rita Habermann] and had to come to an island, staying at a hotel within walking and no-step distance of the Museum. We had an exhibition at the Hydra museum [Sculptures by Rita Habermann] and had to come to an island, staying at a hotel within walking and no-step distance of the Museum. Hydra Chromate fit the bill. The room was fine, the sleep was prefect and the environment enticing. The only two issues was that 1/there was no salt and pepper in the kitchen [I asked we need that for eggs we cook in the morning to which the answer was: that's why we don't supply eggs with breakfast!!] and 2/ we had friends staying in a room above us whose water pipes broke during the night and flooded their room [our friend has movement problems]. I found out in the morning and called the number of the person responsible but no one picked the phone. By chance a lady arrived and I informed her of the problem. I suggested they credit one night and they said they wouldn't because they fixed the problem quickly!! This is unacceptable customer relations. Apart from that, as I said earlier, the stay was nice and uneventful.

“Very nice accommodations”

The location, rooms and breakfast provided were great, highly recommend the accommodations. The host provided us restaurant recommendations which ended up to be the our favourite spots in Hydra. We were three couples and had two rooms, both were very nice. I would have given them five stars but… lisää
