“Great hotel, great staff. Family of 4 in October”

Lovely hotel. Great rooms and staff. We stayed here as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids aged 5 and 8) for a wedding in the area. The room was spacious and the beds really comfortable. Lovely hotel. Great rooms and staff. We stayed here as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids aged 5 and 8) for a wedding in the area. The room was spacious and the beds really comfortable. It was a king/superking and 2 singles for the kids. The room had a lovely balcony overlooking the sea with 2 bathrooms. The cleaning was great with new towels every day. The breakfast buffet had variety and was tasty. The pool was a bit cold for this time of year but the kids braved it anyway. The crowning moment of this hotel, however, is the staff! The reception staff were helpful and friendly. They would always smile and ask how our stay was. The restaurant staff were so brilliant. Always happy to help and very welcoming. Even when they were really busy, they were always happy to help and go the extra mile. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant

“An unforgettable short-stay!”

We stayed for three nights and honestly, if I'd known better, we'd have booked for longer! There was a slight mix-up with our booking, but Evi and Georgia sorted it for us- thanks so much girls! We stayed for three nights and honestly, if I'd known better, we'd have booked for longer! There was a slight mix-up with our booking, but Evi and Georgia sorted it for us- thanks so much girls! The super-fresh and very varied breakfast choices each morning were just lovely, and our room was clean, spacious & comfortable with quality bed-linen and a super-king bed. I'd have been happy to spend the duration of our stay just sitting on the balcony, with the gorgeous relaxing sea-views! On our final morning, before our evening flight, Evi suggested a visit to the Port area of her home village of Nea Makri. It was serene, very beautiful and all-round perfect!! Evi, we loved our chats and laughs with you- you're just a gorgeous person- and we hope to return in the future!! x

“Staff went above and beyond”

My small company had our annual retreat at NLH Mati this month and were absolutely thrilled with our whole experience. My small company had our annual retreat at NLH Mati this month and were absolutely thrilled with our whole experience. The hotel staff went above and beyond to help make our retreat phenomenal - including enthusiastically participating in our silly scavenger hunt! The hotel restaurant and bar were top notch and everything was incredibly reasonably priced. Both the beach and the pool were lovely. If I ever find myself in Greece for a vacation, I'll definitely be coming here. What a fantastic place to relax. I could spend a week very happily never leaving the hotel.

Mixed experience at the hotel Positives: Amazing staff who couldn’t do enough for you- especially at breakfast Room was extremely clean and had a mini refrigerator- panoramic view room was good. Terrace area and poolside were good Breakfast well presented and was fine overall ( not enough fruit and same every day) Some great food places/ tavernas in walking distance and even more in driving distance Not so good: Half board- very limited and samey food. - not my cup of tea I’m afraid and although we paid for half board it wasn’t for us at all so we ate out as nicer food and more atmospheric and authentic. I felt a bit aggrieved that I had paid for half board and it wasn’t worth it.. “Beach area” could do with a bit of attention to make it more usable/comfortable Pool was far too cold and could do with being heated at cooler times Balcony was very small and not really used Lovely having a nespresso type machine in room but you only get 2 capsules - not sure if you could buy them locally and in the end we did get them refilled but seemed a bit mean that this wasn’t usual practice Not much information about the area and things to do. We did a great winery tour but when we asked at reception they couldn’t help with any suggestions. Luckily we had a car so sorted ourselves with some help from Google Would've loved more fruit at breakfast such as melon, pomegranate, berries etc
