“Just Beautiful....”

Such a beautiful, spacious apartment. The pool was an added bonus even though the beach is only a stone throw away. The breakfast was more than substantial, service impeccable.

“Beautiful apartments in Agia Pelagia”

We really enjoyed our 6 night stay here in September. Whilst we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel/apartments, Romantica is very much a tale of two halves. We booked a room in the new, modern section which comprises a small number of apartments all named individually after areas on the island. The apartments are stunning - beautifully designed, ultra modern, spotlessly clean and with excellent facilities. We were so grateful we had booked the apartments as the hotel is starting to look a little old and tired in parts. One of the best features of the apartments was the large balcony (facing east) which we used every morning and evening to enjoy the panoramic views over the Aegean and Agia Pelagia. Our room was spacious, well equipped, had a small kitchenette with a fridge and excellent A/C. It was beautifully designed and decorated with modern furnishings and a super comfy bed. The apartments are also well insulated/sound proofed so you couldn’t hear noise from the neighbouring apartments. We didn't use the pool at the apartments (which is more of a dipping pool) but we sat on the terrace in the evening on our return from the beach to enjoy a G&T and a nice cool Mamos! The apartments have a beautiful outdoor central courtyard and bar area. Unfortunately, the bar had closed the week before we arrived as it was towards the end of the season (mid/late September). The location was also perfect, within walking distance of the town and local restaurants and is a good base from which to access a number of beaches and explore the more remote villages in the north of the island. The ladies on reception were amazing – super helpful, friendly and attentive and they could not do enough to help and please you. For guests with mobility issues they offer a transfer from the reception to the apartments by golf cart. For us there was only a small negative which is that the apartments join the (much older) hotel which is where breakfast was served. As some of the other reviewers have commented, the breakfast was really lacking the panache, class and quality that the apartments exude. Breakfast was served buffet style around the pool area of the hotel. The blue trays were reminiscent of Butlins in the 1980s and the choice was very limited with tinned (as opposed to fresh) fruit, miniature sized pastries and a limited choice of cereals and hot dishes. Despite breakfast being included in the cost of our room, we decided to eat out a couple of mornings to offer some variety and break the monotony. For those mornings where we did eat at the hotel we would take our breakfast choice (on the blue trays) over to the beautiful courtyard area of the apartments. It seemed a real shame that the hotel didn't offer guests the option of using the courtyard/bar area in the apartments as an alternative venue for breakfast. As indicated above this was a minor issue which didn’t detract from our enjoyment of the hotel. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and to stay again.

“Wonderful week stay at Romantica hotel”

Really enjoyed our stay here. The studio had a view of the ocean (a close walk) and the pool was lovely. Christos was always around to ask if we needed anything. “Comfortable stay”

Stayed for a week as part of 3-centre Ramblers holiday. Young staff were always welcoming and polite. Room servicing was excellent. We appreciated aircon and fridge in room and good choice at breakfast. Good swimming from nearby beach and use of pool at Romantica apartments was an unexpected bonus.… lisää

“Relaxing Location for people who want piece and quiet!”

Room was quite big and well equipped with A/C,Fridge and TV. Bed matress was a little to hard for us, but new and of good Quality. Location is extremely good, very close to the Beach and all the restaurants and cafes.Big Balcony to enjoy the evening.It's a place to relax.
