“Great getaway, quiet and beautiful”

We spent 3 nights at Victoria’s and found it to be a quiet and picturesque getaway. Our 2 bedroom suite was spacious with 3 balconies. We spent our days on the beach, borrowing the bikes for a little ride, walking around the surrounding area, and enjoying the pool. There is a nice fishing village a… lisää

We spent 3 nights at Victoria’s and found it to be a quiet and picturesque getaway. Our 2 bedroom suite was spacious with 3 balconies. We spent our days on the beach, borrowing the bikes for a little ride, walking around the surrounding area, and enjoying the pool. There is a nice fishing village about 15 minutes away by car. We would like to return. There are a few important things to note however: The location is not close to Chios and the roads are windy so it is better to plan on spending some time to enjoy the quiet northside for a while rather than commuting back-and-forth. The hosts can help arrange transportation once you are on site if you don’t have a car. It is best to have a car as a taxi to the property will cost around 45 euros. The closest store is 15 minutes away. The meals at the restaurant on property are delicious and reasonable. If you would like any other food, it should be brought with you. It’s a nice place to slow down and relax, we hope to return soon!

“Lovely family and gorgeous food”

Ever since we were let into the secret, we have eaten here every time we visit Chios. This family have established their own ktima and everything we ate [and drank] came from it. Ask for the guided tour[!] The food is outstanding and the hospitality generous and warm. And the drink is homemade beer… lisää

Ask for the guided tour[!] The food is outstanding and the hospitality generous and warm. And the drink is homemade beer, English style and excellent. We bought several bottles to give to other friends we have made on Chios.

“Very warm welcome and wonderful food”

We were staying at a nearby hotel and Victoria’s rooms was one of the few restaurants in the area. We fell in love the first time we went and had to come back over again until we had to leave Giosonas. The place is a family bed and breakfast as well as a restaurant, with some tables on the veranda … lisää

We were staying at a nearby hotel and Victoria’s rooms was one of the few restaurants in the area. We fell in love the first time we went and had to come back over again until we had to leave Giosonas. The place is a family bed and breakfast as well as a restaurant, with some tables on the veranda close to the garden. Yanis would always welcome us and make us feel at home with great music while his sister Irene was always coming to us after she had prepared some delicious meals. The food was mostly made from the vegetables of the garden and was truly amazing, especially the tatziki, Greek salad and the fried eggplants (our favorite!). If you go for breakfast make sure to try their fresh lemonade and their crepes with apricot marmelade. So far it’s been the best Greek restaurant we’ve tried among ten other restaurants so we highly recommend it. Also, Yanis and Irene are both very kind and helpful :-) !!!
