We celebrated my daughter's 40th birthday with extended family, her friends and work colleagues from all over the world. Lalibay resort and its staff are more than excellent in all aspects. Not only is the location and atmosphere of the hotel superb, the rooms, cleanliness and service are wonderful: nothing was a problem, the whole weekend was superbly organised and everyone of the 55 guests thoroughly enjoyed the ambience and seamless organisation by the hotel and staff. The staff were all so friendly and forthcoming, one felt at ease and totally looked after. Many thanks for making our celebration so enjoyable! Oh and the buffet breakfast in the Greek morning sun overlooking the sea was nothing short of magical! Julie and Gordon Rolland.

“Best anniversary ever!”

My wife and I stayed here for our 10 year anniversary back in October, and it was the best trip we ever had! The island of Aegina is gorgeous and easily accessible via 1 hour boat ride from Athens. My wife and I stayed here for our 10 year anniversary back in October, and it was the best trip we ever had! The island of Aegina is gorgeous and easily accessible via 1 hour boat ride from Athens. A 5 minute cab ride brings you to Lalibay, which is a beautiful resort. We showed up super jet lagged a couple hours early for check in, but they were able to accommodate us and get us into our room. They were so sweet and brought us a bottle of wine and some fruit as an anniversary gift. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, and the views were incredible! I cannot say enough good things about the staff, and they became the highlight of our trip. We would ask for tips and advice, and even cultural questions, and they were always so happy to chat and do whatever it takes to improve our stay. We loved sitting by the ocean and dining at the beach side restaurant. The pizza was surprisingly better than here in America. They serve little bowls of chips with drinks which is much appreciated when you need a salty snack. The food is incredible! We especially enjoyed the breakfast. While I was obsessed with the eggs, my wife couldn’t stop raving about the yogurt and the mushrooms, and the pastries of course. They also served a number of amazing coffees (try them all!) Dinner was great as well, with many delicious dishes to try. If the ocean breeze during dinner gets cool, they will bring you blankets which is a nice touch. The front desk ladies are the best in the business. Calling for taxis, making dinner reservations, booking boat cruises with Niko (MUST DO), or helping change your sheets late night after a spill - they are so helpful and sweet. We had an amazing dinner and evening in Perdika thanks to their advice, which is a must visit area. Very authentic. The views here are also incredible. We took a private boat cruise that the hotel helped us book, and Niko picked us up right at the shore of the resort. While we were waiting for the boat, a huge sea turtle swam by which was magical to see. The tour is must do- we explored sea caves, snorkels at a sunken ship, and got to explore multiple islands. Thankfully for me cause I’m a wimp, there are no sharks or jellyfish, so jump on in! Agistri is great, and then we got to visit the infamous Moni island which has deer and peacocks in abundance. It’s so beautiful on both islands! We were fortunate to be here a few weeks after peak season, and we’re only one of a few boats. We were told that in peak season, there are thousands of boats and you can’t swim because of the number of boats. We preferred the quieter atmosphere - felt more private and enjoyable. Niko is awesome and I highly reccomend this trip. I cannot say enough great things about Lalibay. There was not one negative things we experienced. The food, the people, the cleanliness, the views, the pool, the beds, the experience… it was all A+. We will definitely be back!!!!! Thanks Lalibay!

“Lovely place to stay”

Really lovely hotel with beautiful scenery. The rooms were great, although the mirrors are kind of smoky and hard to see well in them. Wouldn’t stop me from staying though. The bar down by the sea was lovely. The breakfast is amazing, the dinner less so. The tomato salad at lunch was fantasti… lisää

“The best choice”

is the best choice if you want to stay in Aegina. Either you go to Saint Nectarios or if you want to go to the beach, this is where you should stay. The breakfast is varied and complete.
