The grounds are impeccably kept and I loved the quality of the buildings. Not a complaint to be had

“Amazing”

Fenomen Plitvice is an absolute gem from start to finish. We travel quite a bit and have seen some amazing places, but this one really stood out. Fenomen Plitvice is an absolute gem from start to finish. We travel quite a bit and have seen some amazing places, but this one really stood out. It reminded us of the traditional lodges you might find in the Okavango Delta—right in the middle of nature, completely peaceful, and incredibly charming. As soon as we arrived, the staff came out to welcome us and helped us with our luggage, which was a big help since we were traveling with a baby. One of them suggested a short 15-minute walk to a nearby waterfall, saying it was worth it—and it truly was. Exactly 15 minutes later, we were standing in front of a stunning view and got some of the best photos from our entire trip. The rooms and showers are thoughtfully designed and very comfortable. And the restaurant? Honestly, the food was on par with any great restaurant in Madrid. A fantastic discovery. I highly recommend it—and I’ll definitely be coming back.

We enjoyed an exceptional stay at the Fenomen Resort in Plitvice Lakes National Park. Arriving on April 24th we spent 3 nights at the Resort, hiking both the lower and upper lakes. Thanks so much to Ivica, our taxi driver, who greeted us with a friendly welcome upon our arrival at the airport and ensured an efficient transfer to the resort. Check-in was facilitated by friendly, informative, and very helpful staff, who accompanied us to our accommodation. The property was amazing, finished to a high standard of workmanship, it is set in a secluded, private area, near the Park entrance, yet away from the crowds at Plitvice. The resort has many easily accessible viewpoints, all with beautiful views! The staff were extremely friendly and always eager to assist with anything we required. Thanks to the staff who ensured our spacious cabin and super comfortable bed were kept spotlessly clean. Our most treasured experience was our dining experiences in the formidable restaurant. With our compliments to the chef on the delicious meal preparations, we thank the restaurant staff, especially Ivana, who was exceptional, with her remarkable wit, humour, and engaging personality. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel welcome and at ease. Her knowledge of the park and local history was impressive, as she shared fascinating stories and insights that enriched our visit. Whether we were curious about the best hiking trails or the local history, she had all the answers and more. Her service was top-class, always attentive and professional, yet she managed to keep the atmosphere light and so enjoyable. Every meal was not just a dining experience but a delightful interaction we looked forward to each evening. Overall, the combination of her exceptional service, engaging personality, and deep knowledge made our stay at Fenomen Resort truly special. We left with wonderful, treasured memories and a greater appreciation for the beauty and history of Plitvice Lakes National Park. Highly recommended!

“Beautiful location very nearby to beautiful national park.”

Wonderful location on a beautiful property. Spacious comfortable room. Good food. Helpful, friendly staff. There was a sauna and hot tub on site available for individual booking (included in fee). A few minor complaints: water for shower was not that hot and hot tub had a weird odour.
