“Simple but delightful place on the Mekong”
This is a simple but delightful place with of course the most amazing view of the mighty Mekong River. Most people are just passing through either up river to Thai border or down river to Luang Prabang, so the town does have a bit of a feel of a transport ‘node’. “Hôtel avec vue imprenable !”
À stunning place with breathtaking mountain views! The rooms are beautifully decorated. The breakfast is lovely. It’s very peaceful, and the staff are extremely attentive! We were a bit cold in the restaurant and in the rooms, but it was December—we should have asked for a heater!

“Great vibe, unsealed roads, quaint”
Just the coolest, most chilled place. Overlooking the Mekong and providing their own fresh vegetables from the gardens terracing the hillside. “A very good choice for one night”
We were on the Nagi of Mekong 2-day cruise toward Luang Prabang and booked Sanctuary for one night along the way.
