A very nice hotel with its own history. Beautiful location. Friendly staff. Clean and professional. It’s a shame about the food though… The hotel is not cheap. But mostly worth it. Which makes you wonder why would they use a Nutella substitute that tastes bad. The same with peanut butter. And other… lisää

A very nice hotel with its own history. Beautiful location. Friendly staff. Clean and professional. It’s a shame about the food though… The hotel is not cheap. But mostly worth it. Which makes you wonder why would they use a Nutella substitute that tastes bad. The same with peanut butter. And other items like crepes. The sweets. Etc. The food quality at breakfast is sub-par for the price you’re charged. This says a lot about the F&B choices of the hotel. We didn’t venture in any more food experiences there.

We were celebrating my friend’s birthday and brought an ice cream cake for the occasion. We were celebrating my friend’s birthday and brought an ice cream cake for the occasion. Unfortunately, we forgot to mention to the staff that it was an ice cream cake and needed to be stored in the freezer. When I asked about it later, they told me the cake was completely ruined. I spoke to the manager, who told me it was my fault for not informing them, which I understand. However, I believe a gesture of goodwill—like offering a complimentary slice of cake—would’ve been a simple and kind way to make up for the situation, especially during a birthday celebration. What also bothered me was what happened earlier that day. I arrived during lunchtime to drop off the cake before our reservation. The manager saw me standing there, clearly waiting for someone to take the cake. Instead of assisting or acknowledging me, he called over a waiter and started talking to him without even checking why I was there. Overall, while I acknowledge my mistake, the way it was handled lacked empathy and hospitality. I expected better from a place that caters to guests celebrating special moments.

Charming hotel, well located, clean, with overall nice and professional staff, especially those at the front desk. However, the ones at the hotel terrace, are less friendly & definitely less helpful, in particular the F&B Manager Mr Ghanem Abou Hanna, who was very rude, verbally aggressive & unprofessional, after we declined to be seated at a table different from the initially reserved (& confirmed) one. The hotel manager support to adequately address this incident was solicited & seeked through the front desk staff, but unfortunately we didn’t receive any feedback.
