“Gorgeous hotel in a great location”

We spent a wonderful weekend at the BoTree. The hotel is gorgeous, with the room exceptionally designed and comfortable, and its location is perfect for accessing all the West End has to offer. We arrived greeted by friendly staff and champagne. I couldn’t drink champagne as I had to take a blood test, so they saved it for me for later, which was a really nice touch. Our plan was to arrive early and drop our bags, coming back later to pick up the room key. The staff did their best to find us an available room, and upgraded us after the first room they allocated overlooked the interior courtyard. The rooms aren’t massive, but so thoughtfully and beautifully designed. The bathroom fixtures are gorgeous and the bed is dreamy. Whilst the ‘views’ are of the neighbouring streets around Bond Street station, they’re perfect for that sense of being in the heart of this landmark city. Before the stay concierge reached out by email to see if we needed any recommendations or room amenities. This was quite clunky, with a lot of back-and-forth asking about what amenities they could provide. It gave a sense that this part of the service was outsourced to a central department rather than the diligent hotel staff. A simple pdf menu of what they offer would have saved a lot of hassle, and I was disappointed by the limited choice of champagne brands on offer - although they stock Perrier-Jouët, one of my favourites. Finally I asked for macarons to be placed in the room. As we arrived early, I didn’t expect them to be ready until we returned shortly before dinner. There was a mix up where the order hadn’t reached the concierge in the hotel (again, making me feel the service via email was outsourced), but the staff dealt with it exceptionally well. When we got back after dinner, we found chocolate macarons (my favourites) and chocolate-covered strawberries waiting for us, with a note from the team apologising for the mix up. This really is fantastic service, and how you expect a 5-star hotel to operate.

“Gorgeous opulent welcoming hotel”

Such a gorgeous opulent but welcoming hotel. It was perfect, from the beautiful bedroom decor and furnishings to the Jasper Conran coffee cups in the room. The staff were so friendly and helpful too. I would definitely recommend it. We didn't eat at the hotel as it was just a brief visit.

“Fantastic location and quiet room”

We had a great stay. My son was sick and the staff really took care of him. The breakfast was just okay, but everything else was fantastic, especially the location.

Check in was friendly and efficient, and we were offered a welcome drink on arrival. The concierge then showed us to our room, and explained all the controls and minibar options.
