Very modern hotel, excellent location, nice staff, clean rooms, all amenities close by, will recomended it. We enjoyed every minute at the hotel although we spent most of the time out. We dont have one complaint to make except that the shower doors needed some minor adjusting and the sofa beds for the kids was a bit squeaky, the rest was almost perfect.

Gran View apartments is in the perfect central location, walkable distance to all popular attractions and neighbourhoods. The views from the rooftop were amazing, especially at sunset. Gran View apartments is in the perfect central location, walkable distance to all popular attractions and neighbourhoods. The views from the rooftop were amazing, especially at sunset. It is a shame the bar is closed during the season. The room is very generously sized and is a great deal for the price. My only issue is the cleanliness of the apartment. The bedroom floor and the wardrobes were very dusty. I put my backpack on the floor and it was covered. Other than this, we had a very enjoyable stay for our first visit to Madrid.

This is a honest review. I would not say it’s a 4 star, more like 3 star. I will start with the bad. 1. The bathrooms are in need of renovation. Very small bathroom and small shower. The shower door needs attention and did not close all the way. I’ve been to other hotels in Madrid with much newer and updated bathrooms so this was disappointing. 2. I was woken up 3 times in middle of night/ early morning to the whole bedroom shaking on many nights! Yes shaking!! I figured out what it was. It wasn’t an explosion which I first thought it was. It was the neighboring apartment front door slamming shut. You see all the doors are not a soft silent door upon shutting. They literally slam. And it’s loud and enough to wake you up at night by neighbors. It’s a major flaw in how their front doors are set up so they need to fix that. Now the pros: 1. Front door has a serviced staff 24:7 so there was someone there to receive us. That is a huge plus actually. 2. Location! Location right on the Gran Via is fantastic! If you need extra space such as have kids I would advise booking here instead of a hotel simply bc more room here. 3. Working spacious elevators, big plus.
