I was recommended to try this nice boutique hotel instead of the Banjaran for this visit to Ipoh. This is a very quaint and well-managed establishment that is located very close to the city center. Arrival was met by a friendly front-staffer who efficiently checked me into my room. Lobby area is small (cosy) but nicely decorated with the theme of the hotel, re: Bali-esque; i like it. There is a small sitting area that serves as both lobby and breakfast area - that served amazing food. Short walk to the assigned room was through a small and well-manicured courtyard that exuded serenity and calmness. Assigned room was of good size with tall ceilings and that carried the same theme (decoratively) as throughout the establishment - it was well done. Room was clean, nicely decorated and had a small balcony and water garden (next to it) that had koi fish that you could feed (they gather promptly at your feet when you step onto the balcon; they have been well-trained - lol). Bed was on the hard side but acceptable and the bathroom was of a good size - it was functional barring the need to climb into a bath tub for the shower experience - but they provided a slip mat that was appreciated. Everything worked - all the lights, wifi signal was robust and the offerings from the TV were excellent (much, much more extensive than the higher grade hotels in the area). Took advantage of a spa massage that provided an incredible experience - room was very pretty and the service rendered was attentive and energetic. Overall, a great stay; this lovely boutique hotel provided an experience that was beyond my expectations for the rates charged.

“Best of the Best!”

I was told that the hotel is 9 years old. It's so well maintained that it doesn't look worn out. Kudos to the hotel's Management and staff for the excellent job of maintaining its cleanliness and allure. I have nothing but praise for this place during my stay, from the time I checked in to the food for breakfast, housekeeping, etc. I will be back & will stay longer!

“Almost perfect”

Room was spacious with a decked stream running across your own balcony with a little fountain and a swing chair that you can chill out in. Room was spacious with a decked stream running across your own balcony with a little fountain and a swing chair that you can chill out in. Bed was very comfortable but takes a bit of getting past the door banging, motor whirring and some other noises. Light/Fan switches were confusing as they were not labelled and had some placed by the bed and some by the door. This room with a king size bed had separate bedside lamps. But switches for both lamps are only on 1 side of the bed. To turn it on in the middle of the night, i had to wake my partner up to do so for me :( The big tv is equipped to an Astro box with many cable channels and had good reception. Bathroom was spacious with a big luxurious bathtub. It also acts as the shower space which would be a great challenge for older folks to get in/out as the tub is deep. There would be room types with just shower if needed. Shower pressure was good. Appreciated the well-stocked bathroom amenities provided....one of the few remaining hotels to provide toothbrush & toothpaste nowadays! Toilet has a bidet spray which is helpful but not the most ergonomically designed. Room rates include breakfast that you get to preorder night before from an extensive menu of western and local cuisine. Coffee/tea, juice, milk and toast are free flow on the sides. So are cereals which tasted weird though. Location is about 10mins drive to Concubine Lane area and is in a suburb location away from the main road. This 12 room boutique hotel definitely exudes the Balinese feel that its intended for. Besides the good quality of its structure and fittings, ALL of their staff presented the same Balinese vibes ....welcoming, quick yet discreet.

Great location and close to Greentown with its fabulous restaurants! Friendly and helpful staff and great clean rooms. As it is a little out of old town, using Grab was very helpful, quick and cheap. Rooms could do with providing some black tea bags and milk (not powdered). Breakfast could have mor… lisää

Great location and close to Greentown with its fabulous restaurants! Friendly and helpful staff and great clean rooms. As it is a little out of old town, using Grab was very helpful, quick and cheap. Rooms could do with providing some black tea bags and milk (not powdered). Breakfast could have more variety of bread and not just white bread. Otherwise enjoyed our stay and the ambience of the hotel and highly recommended.
