“Clean and budget”

Budget hotel with clean bed and toilet and good wifi fulfill budget travelers needs. Water is available in the reception area and plenty of parking space. There are mamak nearby, also very near to the Lost world of Tambun.

Overall it is good..the room is new, clean and the real non-smoking room.. however, the staff did not mention that the key have a token to unlock the main entrance door when you come back from outside in midnight.

We stayed here two nights due to its proximity to The Lost World of Tambun. This hotel looks fairly new and it is in excellent condition. It is run by a very nice lady and her family. The rooms are very clean and well maintained and filtered water is available in the reception area, which is a very handy feature. The property is very secure as they have someone at reception 24 hours and you need to be buzzed into the building. I would have liked a safe in the room, but it was fine without. The rooms also don’t have a fridge, but we were able to store our food in a bar fridge that the owners had. The rooms decor is very minimalist. The wall behind the bed was painted green as a feature wall and the room had a bed, a desk and a wall mounted flat screen tv. The bathroom was small but sufficient. There is soap in a dispenser next to the shower, so you reach over to the shower when washing your hands as there was no soap next to the sink. There are restaurants and a supermarket nearby and it is about a ten minute walk to the Lost World of Tambun. A grab ride here from Ipoh will set you back about 15RM.

“Great Budget hotel”

Tulip hotel is highly recommended for budget travellers. Especially this area lacks other choices of hotels to stay in, this place was a clean place. Checked in earlier today. My friend and I shared a room. Toilets was clean. Beds were well made. Wifi signal was good.

For the price it is a good value hotel particularly if you are going to the lost word of tambun theme park. Its cheap and located just less than 1km from the resort. For the price it is a good value hotel particularly if you are going to the lost word of tambun theme park. Its cheap and located just less than 1km from the resort. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfy. The room is a bit small but can still fit 2 people comfortably. Some rooms are slightly bigger and can accommodate an extra bed depending on the layout. It is a no frills hotel so dont expect anything grand. They provide basic shower facilities- hot water and liquid soap. There is a drinking fountain next to reception for hot and cold water. There is a giant next door and nasi kandar shop around the corner. The only downside of this hotel is they only accept cash. We didnt know this but fortunately we had enough cash with us to cover the bill.
