We booked 2 rooms for the weekend during the off peak season. The whole resort was quite quiet with only few guests, but we enjoyed the quietness since we were looking at finding a rest from our daily busy routine. From the balcony of the room, the calm water of the lake amidst the nature gave such an enjoyable stress relief. A stroll along the path beside the lake was also refreshing. Early in the morning, the sunrise scenery was amazingly beautiful! Wish we could spend a longer time there. We will stay here again if there is another opportunity. Just wish that the price could be slightly cheaper to make it more affordable. The rooms themselves are simple and well equipped with the usual amenities. Just that the air-conditioning machine in one of our rooms was very old and not powerful enough. It took longer time to cool down the whole room. So, we had no choice but to make it run 24 hours to achieve the cooling temperature (this month-April, is a very hot and humid season). Nevertheless, I could see that the maintenance staffs were working to upgrade with new air-con machine in some of the nearby rooms. So, I presume this issue should be solved soon. The staffs were very helpful and they made our stay comfortable with no stress. Check-in and check-out process were smooth. The buggy was just a call away when we needed help to transport our luggage.

I stayed here with my young family during the June school holidays. The main purpose for our stay here was in conjunction with our planned visit to the water park adjacent to the resort. Fully aware that the resort has been around for more than 20 years now, it is in dire need of an upgrade. In addition, room amenities were rather limited, F&B options for non-Muslim cuisine within the vicinity of the hotel are rather limited as well. You would probably need to drive/ride towards the next major town (e.g. Taiping) for more options.

“Nice place for a daytrip”

Nice place for a daytrip. The accommodation(we stayed in a suite on top of the lake) was really good. Clean room with toiletry supplies. Own terrace with lake view. Amenities in the area limited and maybe not that, what westeners would like to have (yes, i missed the option to have a beer). Only on… lisää

Nice place for a daytrip. The accommodation(we stayed in a suite on top of the lake) was really good. Clean room with toiletry supplies. Own terrace with lake view. Amenities in the area limited and maybe not that, what westeners would like to have (yes, i missed the option to have a beer). Only one proper restaurant was open at the time, but there was a hawker centre. Other than the reception, card payment did not work. The attached waterpark and petting zoo was a hit for our 9y old. All in all a great experience, but be careful when choosing, if it is that, what you want.
