"An exciting experience—it’s just like being at home! The receptionists on every shift provided excellent service, always available to support us with a great attitude. A special mention goes to the young lady on the morning shift; she was incredibly kind and attentive. Truly excellent customer service! The place is cozy, magical, and has a wonderful family atmosphere; the room we were assigned made our stay even more pleasant. We didn’t want to leave, and my partner enjoyed it immensely. Another highlight of this hotel is its location; being so close to the city center makes it an excellent choice if you are looking for somewhere cozy yet central. We will certainly return and recommend it to our fellow travelers, as it is impossible not to share our wonderful stay at Casa Lum. “Outstandingly Located Boutique Hotel”

I'm so lucky to have chosen this hotel! The location is amazingly convenient to museums, restaurants galore, and El Centro. I'm so lucky to have chosen this hotel! The location is amazingly convenient to museums, restaurants galore, and El Centro. It's on a pedestrian only street so people-watching is a constant treat, watching couples, travelers, kids...the show never ends. The staff are available constantly but are not intrusive. In fact, they couldn't be friendlier. The rooms are comfortable and I had the only upstairs room with a pretty balcony. The breakfasts are yummy with many options, and the coffees are excellent! Terrific hotel.

We had a great time staying at the beautiful boutique Casa Lum located on the finest street in the center of San Cristobal. Walking distance in the same street we found so many great restaurants. The hotel staff also booked all our local tours and were very helpful with anything we needed. Our room had a beautiful private garden and we felt safe and comfortable. Our stay at Casa Lum was almost perfect. We loved the central location, the beautiful architectural style, and the high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel. Our stay at Casa Lum was almost perfect. We loved the central location, the beautiful architectural style, and the high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel. It is a very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing place to stay in San Cristobal. However, the included breakfast was a disappointment. It is a basic continental meal consisting of weak coffee, a small portion of fruit, and stale toast. There were no eggs included and no option for fresh bread, which was unexpected given the price of the stay. The restaurant clearly has the potential to deliver high quality, so it was surprising to be served such a mediocre breakfast for three mornings. We still highly recommend the hotel for its beauty and comfort, but we hope they upgrade their breakfast offering to match the rest of the experience.
