“View 5 stars, not bad in such a remote place”

“Be SURE Your Room Is In The New Block”
This hotel is charming in many ways, but the windowless room we were initially assigned in the old section reeked of kerosene from the previous night, and was totally unacceptable. “Slightly disappointing hotel set in a spectacular location.”
We had accommodation in the older block at this hotel which were definitely in need of renovation. The hotel is set in a very dry, arid region and water is precious, so expect underwhelming tepid showers! There is no wifi in the bedrooms. The views from the lounge and restaurant are stunning. “Ordinary hotel with great views”
The views are spectacular but the service and room leave a lot to be desired. No help to find the room or with my bag. No tv or wifi in room. Coffee maker dirty.
