Nicely located in Roma norte. I was surprised at the cleanliness of the hotel based on the affordable price. The rooms are no frills, clean, and the beds are slightly hard but doable. My room was on the smaller side but it was just me. The window opens up into an inside courtyard breeze way that the other rooms also have. So you may hear noise from other rooms like people talking or kids, but for the most part it was quiet after 10 p.m. I would stay here again.

“Far too expensive, good location”

Stayed here for a night after another hotel overbooked and oversold its rooms. It’s situated in a nightlife area, more or less secure. The rooms don’t have windows , it’s basic and for what it is far,far too expensive. I wouldn’t have taken this one on my own but it fulfilled the purpose. I’m shock… lisää

Stayed here for a night after another hotel overbooked and oversold its rooms. It’s situated in a nightlife area, more or less secure. The rooms don’t have windows , it’s basic and for what it is far,far too expensive. I wouldn’t have taken this one on my own but it fulfilled the purpose. I’m shocked how a place like this can cost 50$but it’s Overtourism. It was clean-ish and got a warm shower. It looks like a love motel, which I think it actually is. No intention to know anyway.

Location is good - in a safe neighborhood and close to good restaurants, and still reasonably close to the touristy historical district. Staff did not really speak much English but were friendly and patient and helpful - and with Google Translate, it was completely fine with me (I speak virtually no Spanish). The downsides, however, were: dated decor and hardware. No air conditioning so can be a problem in warm summer months. Only one electrical outlet in the room next to the bed (thankfully I bought a multi-USB adaptor). Room was not sound-proof - but based on my research, it is a common problem among hotels in CDMX, not just this particular hotel - I think though the lack of air conditioning (i.e. needed to open the window to ventilate) exacerbated the problem. And this one might only have applied to me: the single roomprovided to me had shower head but no bathtub and no shower stall - that really made me feel like I was in a low-budget mortel... All these being said, folks, let's be real - I didn't pay a lot for the room. It was advertised as a budget hotel and it stayed true to the description. If you don't want to spend a lot on a hotel in a prime location, this might work for you; but if you want to be more comfortable, then you have to pay more. Fair and square.
