This is listed as the number 1 most haunted hotel in all of Mexico. As you can see it is beautiful on the outside. However the rooms are very old...ours had an old box TV from the 1990s... This is listed as the number 1 most haunted hotel in all of Mexico. As you can see it is beautiful on the outside. However the rooms are very old...ours had an old box TV from the 1990s... Don't go expecting the rooms to be outstanding, because they are not. If haunted and ghost stories are your thing..this is for you. We stayed two nights and the castle delivered exactly what you would expect from the most haunted hotel in the country... I would most definitely stay again...next time I'm bringing ghost hunting equipment.

Let's start with the CONS of staying here. The accommodations are in dire need of a face lift. I cannot speak for other rooms, but rm 120 needs help. The mattress is dirty/stained. The bed linens are old and stained. The furniture is stained and broken. The shower leaks and floods the small bathroom. The staff is semi helpful and the safe does not work. That said, the PROS are that the structure itself is charming and the views are lovely! The location is close enough to the center of everything. The parking attendant is very friendly and helpful. Book a room here for the experience of staying in a "castle." Understand that this is an old building and as such does not have super modern conveniences. However, old buildings do not excuse old, broken, stained furnishings, linens and flooded bathrooms.
